Club Sport Marítimo MH M, commonly known as Marítimo, is a Portuguese sports club founded in Funchal, Madeira, in 1910. Marítimo is best known for its football team playing in Portugal's top-flight competition, the Primeira Liga. The club's reserve team, Marítimo B, compete in the third division. Aside from football, Marítimo have teams in other sports competing in national leagues, such as volleyball, handball, roller hockey and athletics. Marítimo supporters are called Maritimistas.
Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses, commonly known as Belenenses, is a Portuguese sports club best known for its football team. Founded in 1919, it is one of the oldest Portuguese sports clubs. It is based in the 25,000-seat Estádio do Restelo in the Belém parish of Lisbon, hence the club name, which translates as "The ones from Belém". Among its fanbase, the club is commonly nicknamed O Belém, in reference to the neighborhood; Os Pastéis, in reference to a traditional Portuguese pastry originated in the parish; Azuis (Blues) or Azuis do Restelo, in reference to the club's color and its home stadium; and A Cruz de Cristo, for its emblem, or also "Os Rapazes da Praia", a reference to the zone of Belém in the earlier 20 Century.
Sporting Clube de Portugal has a professional futsal team based in Lisbon, Portugal, since 4 March 1985, and plays in Portuguese Futsal First Division. They are the most decorated team in terms of domestic titles in the country, and are the current European champions. Having made the last 10 finals and winning 7, Sporting have won 3 straight Portuguese championships on two occasions.

Brazil also holds a record twelve championship wins in the South American Futsal Championship also known as the Copa América de Futsal and five wins in the Taça América de Futsal. As of November 2016, Brazil is ranked first in the Futsal World Rankings. Brazil has played in all FIFA Futsal World Cups and has finished in the top three places seven times.

He was ranked Top Goalscorer at the 2014 (15) and 2018 AFC Futsal Championship (14), and 5th Best Player in the World at the UMBRO Futsal Awards in 2017 and 2018.
