The 2008 Garuda Indonesia Tennis Masters was a tennis tournament held at the Hotel Sultan in Jakarta from 10 December to 14 December 2008. It was the inaugural Garuda Indonesia Tennis Masters.
The tournament was restricted to Indonesian entrants. The total prize purse was 500 million rupiah (roughly $40,000US), with 100 million rupiah for the winners of the singles competition.
The singles competitions each had eight entrants. The men's doubles competition had eight teams, and the women's doubles competition had four teams.

Lavinia Tananta is the defending champion of the Women's Singles competition of the 2011 Southeast Asian Games but lost to Anna Clarice Patrimonio in the quarterfinals. Ayu-Fani Damayanti won the title after beating top seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn in the final by 6–4, 6–1.
Tamarine Tanasugarn and Varatchaya Wongteanchai are the defending champions of the Women's Doubles competition of the 2011 Southeast Asian Games. Tanasugarn decided not to participate and Wongteanchai partnered with Nicha Lertpitaksinchai. Second seed Noppawan Lertcheewakarn and Nungnadda Wannasuk won the title by beating Wongteanchai and Lertpitaksinchai 6–3, 6–2 in the final.
Grace Sari Ysidora is an Indonesian professional tennis player. She made her debut as a professional in 2008, aged 15, at an ITF tournament in Jakarta. In that year, she reached the final of the women's doubles of the inaugural 2008 Garuda Indonesia Tennis Masters, partnered by Septi Mende. They were defeated by Ayu-Fani Damayanti and Liza Andriyani.
