2009 Desafio Internacional das Estrelas was the fifth edition of Desafio Internacional das Estrelas (International Challenge of the Stars) with Rubens Barrichello as the defending champion. The races were held on a newly built track that had been designed by race participant Lucas di Grassi. The event was won by Michael Schumacher after he won Race 1 and came 2nd in Race 2.

Desafio Internacional das Estrelas auto race held in Brazil

The Desafio Internacional das Estrelas is an annual charity kart race organised by Felipe Massa since 2005. The first edition was held on Kartódromo Toca da Coruja on Bauru. For 2006 at 2008 the challenge was moved to Kartódromo dos Ingleses on Florianópolis and since 2009 at Arena Sapiens Park, also at Florianópolis.

Rubens Barrichello Brazilian racing driver

Rubens "Rubinho" Gonçalves Barrichello, is a Brazilian racing driver who competed in Formula One between 1993 and 2011, scoring 11 Grand Prix wins and 68 podiums.

Lucas di Grassi Brazilian racing driver

Lucas Tucci di Grassi is a Brazilian racing driver who competes in the all-electric FIA Formula E Championship for Audi Sport ABT Schaffler and is the CEO of Roborace. In his career, he has won multiple races in single-seaters and sports cars. Di Grassi's most prolific success was when he won the 2016–17 Formula E Drivers' Championship.

Michael Schumacher German racing driver

Michael Schumacher is a retired German racing driver who raced in Formula One for Jordan Grand Prix, Benetton and Ferrari, where he spent most of his career, as well as for Mercedes upon his return to the sport. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula One drivers ever, and regarded by some as the greatest of all time, Schumacher is the only driver in history to win seven Formula One World Championships, five of which he won consecutively. The most successful driver in the history of the sport, Schumacher holds the records for the most World Championship titles (7), the most Grand Prix wins (91), the most fastest laps (77) and the most races won in a single season (13), and according to the official Formula One website (Formula1.com), Schumacher was "statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen" at the time of his retirement from the sport.

Felipe Massa Brazilian racecar driver

Felipe Massa is a Brazilian Formula E and former Formula 1 racing driver. Massa started his career in go-karting from the age of eight continuing in national and regional championships for seven years. He moved into Formula Chevrolet and claimed the championship. He moved in Italian Formula Renault in 2000 and won the title along with the European championship. Massa went into Euro Formula 3000 taking the championship in 2001.

2008 Desafio Internacional das Estrelas was the fourth edition of Desafio Internacional das Estrelas held on 2 December 2008. The event consisted of warmup, qualifying and race sessions with the overall winner determined by the aggregate points score from the two races. The ten fastest qualifiers took part in the top ten shootout for the pole which was won by Lucas di Grassi. The qualifying rounds set the grid for the first race which was won by Rubens Barrichello. The starting grid of the second race was determined by the results of the first race although the top eight of the first race were reversed. The second race also provided less points than the first. It was won by Felipe Massa. Overall winner of the event was Rubens Barrichello as he scored the most points ahead of Lucas di Grassi and Felipe Massa.

2007 Desafio Internacional das Estrelas was the third edition of Desafio Internacional das Estrelas held on November 23 – November 25, 2007. It was won by Michael Schumacher.

2006 Desafio Internacional das Estrelas was the second edition of Desafio Internacional das Estrelas held in two heats with Felipe Massa winning the first one and Antônio Pizzonia winning the second one. Overall winner was Felipe Massa.

2010 Isle of Man TT

The 2010 Isle of Man TT Festival was held between Saturday 29 May and Friday 11 June on the 37.73-mile Isle of Man TT Mountain Course. The 2010 races again included a second 600 cc Supersport Junior TT race. The Lightweight TT and Ultra-Lightweight TT race class previously held on the 4.25-mile (6.84 km) Billown Circuit in the Isle of Man for the 2008 Isle of Man TT and 2009 Isle of Man TT were dropped from the 2010 race schedule. The 2010 Isle of Man TT Races included the one-lap TT Zero for racing motorcycles "to be powered without the use of carbon based fuels and have zero toxic/noxious emissions." which replaced the TTXGP and also a Suzuki 50th Anniversary Lap of Honour and the TT Classic Parade which were held before the main Senior TT race.

Races scheduled for 3–4 December at Arena Sapiens Park in Florianópolis-SC. The event was won by Jaime Alguersuari after he came 2nd in Race 1 and won Race 2.

Races scheduled for 18–19 December at Arena Sapiens Park in Florianópolis-SC. The event was won by Lucas di Grassi after he won Race 1 and retired in Race 2.

2013 Desafio Internacional das Estrelas was the eighth edition of Desafio Internacional das Estrelas, the races scheduled for 12–13 January 2013 at Kartódromo do Beto Carrero World at Penha, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The event was won by Jules Bianchi after he won the race 1 and finished in fourth position in race 2.

2014 Isle of Man TT

The 2014 Isle of Man TT Festival was held between Saturday 24 May and Friday 6 June 2014 on the 37.73-mile Isle of Man TT Mountain Course. The main races were six solo motorcycle races and two sidecar races. The festival also included Pre-TT Classic Races held on 23, 24 & 26 May 2014 at the Billown Circuit in Castletown. Post-TT races scheduled for 7 June 2014 were cancelled by race organisers on safety grounds due to a thunderstorm and heavy overnight rain.
