All competitive handball in Scotland is sanctioned and organised by the Scottish Handball Association.

The Scottish Handball Men's League Season ran from 3 October 2009 until 22 May 2010.

Gracemount Handball Club were crowned the Men's League Champions on 10 April 2010 after clinching a 32-32 draw against Glasgow Handball Club.

All league games and cup qualification matches were played at Blackburn Community Centre, Blackburn, West Lothian.

The Scottish Cup Finals were played at the Paisley Lagoon Leisure Centre.

Broadwood Stadium is a multi-use community stadium and sports complex in the Westfield area of Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. Glasgow City of the Scottish Women's Premier League are also sharing the stadium temporarily for the 2020–21 season. Gilmerton Human settlement in Scotland

Gilmerton is a suburb of Edinburgh, about 4 miles (6.4 km) southeast of the city centre.

Gracemount Edinburgh Handball Club was formed in 2002 by Fred Wallace as part of the rebirth of the Scottish Handball Association. In the beginning, the club started with about ten 11- to 13-year-old children training once a week, learning basic ball control skills. Over the next 6 years though, the club has expanded hugely and now boasts a sizeable youth team and a large senior men's team.

The Scottish Handball League is the premier handball competition for teams in Scotland. The league is regulated by the Scottish Handball Association and is based on a standard round robin format with each team playing one another twice with 2 points awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw.

Cumbernauld Town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland

Cumbernauld is a large town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It is the ninth most-populous locality in Scotland and the most populated town in north Lanarkshire, positioned in the centre of Scotland's Central Belt. Geographically, Cumbernauld sits between east and west, being on the Scottish watershed between the Forth and the Clyde; however, it is culturally far more weighted towards Glasgow and the New Town's planners thought to fill 80% of its houses from Scotland's largest city to reduce housing pressure there.

Dundee Handball Club

Dundee Handball Club, is a handball club from Dundee, Scotland. They play in the Scottish National League, their first season being 2011/2012.

Lynn McCafferty is a British handball player, born in Coatbridge. She has played for the British national team, and competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The 2019–20 SFA South Region Challenge Cup is the 13th edition of the annual cup competition for senior non-league clubs in the central and southern regions of Scotland. This season sees the competition increase to 70 teams despite the demise of Selkirk and withdrawal of Eyemouth United, thanks to the relegation of Berwick Rangers to the Lowland League plus the addition of Glenrothes and Kinnoull to the East of Scotland Football League.
