The 2011-12 Belgian First Division season in women's football was the final season of the Belgian Women's First Division. The league involved 14 clubs, with two teams promoted from the Second Division: K. Achterbroek VV and KSK Heist.

The national federations of Belgium and the Netherlands folded their top women's divisions into the binational BeNe League; after receiving UEFA approval, the new league played its first season in 2012–13.

The Vrouwen Eredivisie, also known as the Pure Energie Eredivisie Vrouwen due to a sponsor contract until the 2023–2024 season, is the highest professional women's football league in the Netherlands. BeNe League Football league

The BeNe League was the highest women's football league in Belgium and the Netherlands. To increase competitiveness in their national leagues, the BeNe League was a joint cooperation between the Royal Belgian Football Association and the Royal Dutch Football Association. Its first season was played in 2012–13 following the successful cooperation with the one match BeNe Super Cup, that paired both countries' national champions. The competition qualified the highest-placed Belgian and Dutch teams to the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 2012–13 season of the Women's BeNe League was the first season of the Belgium and the Netherlands' women's football top level league. Since this was the first season, the league had no reigning champion, although both countries had reigning champions from their former top leagues—Standard Liège in Belgium and ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands. The season started on 24 August 2012. The championship was won by FC Twente.
