ECAC Hockey is one of the six conferences that compete in NCAA Division I ice hockey. The conference used to be affiliated with the Eastern College Athletic Conference, a consortium of over 300 colleges in the eastern United States. This relationship ended in 2004; however, the ECAC abbreviation was retained in the name of the hockey conference. ECAC Hockey is the only ice hockey conference with identical memberships in both its women's and men's divisions.

Yale University women's ice hockey (YWIH) is an NCAA Division I varsity ice hockey program at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

The 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season began on October 2, 2009, ending with the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Tournament's championship game on March 21, 2010 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. It marked the third time that Minneapolis had hosted the Frozen Four. The tournament's opening round was scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2010, followed by the Final Faceoff on Saturday through Sunday, March 6–7, 2010. The quarterfinals were played on Friday through Saturday, March 12–13, 2010, with the Frozen Four played on Friday and Saturday, March 19 and 20, 2010.

This is a history of the 2009–10 season of the Dartmouth Big Green women's ice hockey team.

The 2009–10 Northeastern Huskies women's hockey team represented Northeastern University in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's hockey season. The Huskies were a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference and attempted to win the NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship. Dave Flint, who was named Northeastern's head women's hockey coach on June 23, 2008, was an assistant coach for the U.S. national team at the 2010 Olympics. Serving as interim co-head coaches for the 2009–10 season were current assistant coaches Linda Lundrigan and Lauren McAuliffe.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">New Hampshire Wildcats women's ice hockey</span> College ice hockey team

The New Hampshire Wildcats represent the University of New Hampshire. They have won five ECAC championships between 1986 and 1996. When the Wildcats joined Hockey East, they won four Hockey East titles from 2006 to 2009. The Wildcats have more wins than any other women's ice hockey program at 668 in its first 32 years. The Wildcats went undefeated in their initial 74 games (73-0-1) spanning the 1978 through 1982 seasons. A UNH goaltender has been declared Hockey East Goaltending Champion in the first six years of the league's existence. From 2007 to 2009, UNH hosted NCAA Tournament Regional home games.

The Providence Friars women's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the Providence College. The Friars are a member of Hockey East. They play at the 3,030-seat Schneider Arena in Providence, Rhode Island.

The Dartmouth Big Green women's ice hockey program represents Dartmouth College. In 2001, Dartmouth participated in the inaugural NCAA Championship tournament. Since then, they have appeared in the "Frozen Four", the semifinals of the NCAA hockey tournament, three additional times.

The Princeton Tigers women's ice hockey team represents Princeton University in the ECAC Hockey conference in the NCAA Division I women's ice hockey. They play at the Hobey Baker Memorial Rink. In the 2019–2020 season, they won their first ECAC championship, defeating #1 ranked Cornell by a score of 3–2 in overtime.

The Colgate Raiders women's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I ice hockey team that represents Colgate University and play in ECAC Hockey. The Raiders play their home games at Class of 1965 Arena. The Raiders have played in Division I hockey since the 2001–02 season after playing at the NCAA Division III from 1997 to 2001.

The 2010–11 women's national hockey team represented the United States in various tournaments during the season. The team won the gold medal at the Women's World Championships. The head coach of the National team was Mark Johnson.

The 2010–11 Dartmouth women's ice hockey team represented Dartmouth College in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. In the regular season, the Big Green were 19–9–0 overall and 15–7–0 in the ECAC.

The 2010–11 ECAC Hockey women's ice hockey season marked the continuation of the annual tradition of competitive ice hockey among ECAC members.

The 2011–12 women's national hockey team represented Canada in various tournaments during the 2011-12 hockey season. The head coach of the National team was York Lions women's ice hockey coach Dan Church.

Correne (Bredin) Taves was a member of the Canadian National women's Under 22 team from 1999 to 2001, and a member of the Canadian National women's senior team from 2001 to 2007. Twice, she was an alternate to the Canadian Olympic women's ice hockey team.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Erica Howe</span> Canadian ice hockey player

Erica Howe is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. As a member of the gold medal winning squad at the 2010 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship, a hockey card of her was featured in the Upper Deck 2010 World of Sports card series. She was the first goaltender selected in the 2014 CWHL Draft, claimed by the Brampton Thunder. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2013–14 Union Dutchmen ice hockey season</span> School ice hockey season

The 2013–14 Union Dutchmen ice hockey team represented Union College in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The Dutchmen were coached by Rick Bennett, who was in his third season as head coach. His assistant coaches were Joe Dumais, Jason Tapp, and John Ronan. The team captain was Mat Bodie and the assistant captains were Daniel Carr and Shayne Gostisbehere. The Dutchmen played their home games at Frank L. Messa Rink at Achilles Center and were members of the ECAC Hockey conference.
