The 2012 Kenyan Super Cup was a Kenyan football match that was played on 5 February 2012. It was contested by Tusker, the 2011 Kenyan Premier League winners, and Gor Mahia, the 2011 FKL Cup winners.

Contents

Tusker won 4-1 on penalties after the match ended 1-1 at full-time for their first title. The team's goalkeeper, Samuel Odhiambo, was awarded Man of the match after saving all but one of Gor Mahia's penalties during the shootout.

In addition to lifting the trophy, Tusker were awarded a KSh. 750,000 cheque prize while Gor Mahia took home KSh. 500,000. [1]

The deadline for application was 30 July, and 32 clubs had registered for participation to the tournament after paying a mandatory KSh. 15,000 fee, with a final list of 34 teams. The 2016 Kenyan Super Cup was a Kenyan football match contested by the 2015 Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia and the 2015 FKF President's Cup champions Bandari. Bandari won my match 1–0 to deny Gor Mahia their third title in a row. As a result, Bandari claimed Ksh. 750,000 in prize money while Gor Mahia collected Ksh. 500,000 as runners-up.

The 2016 KPL Top 8 Cup was the fifth edition of the tournament, which kicked off on 1 May and ended on 16 October. It was contested by the top 8 teams of the 2015 season of the Kenyan Premier League: A.F.C. Leopards, Bandari, Gor Mahia, Muhoroni Youth, Sofapaka, Tusker, Ulinzi Stars and Ushuru.
