The 2012 Pitch and Putt World Cup was held on the Royal Meath course, Ireland, and was the fourth edition for this championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA), with 11 national teams. Ireland won their second World Cup after defeating Australia 5-0 in the final.

The Pitch and Putt World Cup is the Teams championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA) played every four years.

The Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA) is one of the governing bodies for the pitch and putt in the world, along with the International Pitch and Putt Association (IPPA). It was created in March 2006 by the representatives of 17 national governing bodies and is based in Barcelona, Catalonia.

The 2006 Pitch and Putt World Cup was held in Teià (Catalonia) and was the second edition for this championship promoted by the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA), with 13 teams. Catalonia won the World Cup.

The Australia men's national pitch and putt team represents Australia in the pitch and putt international competitions. It is managed by the Australian Pitch and Putt Association (APPA).

The Catalonia men's national pitch and putt team represents Catalonia in the pitch and putt international competitions. It is managed by the Catalan Federation of Pitch and putt (FCPP).

The Chile men's national pitch and putt team represents Chile in the pitch and putt international competitions. It is managed by the Federación Chilena de Pitch and Putt (FCPP), one of the founders of the Federation of International Pitch and Putt Associations (FIPPA).
