The 2012 Prince Edward Island Scotties Tournament of Hearts , Prince Edward Island's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 20 to 23 at the Charlottetown Curling Club in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Erin Carmody is a Canadian curler, originally from Prince Edward Island but residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia as of 2019. A native of the city of Summerside, Carmody was a biology student at the University of Prince Edward Island when she broke onto the curling scene by winning three consecutive provincial junior championships, twice with an undefeated record. She entered the national scene in 2010 after forming a rink with longtime teammate Geri-Lynn Ramsay and veteran curlers Kathy O'Rourke and Trisha Affleck that captured the 2010 provincial championships at the senior level. At the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the squad made it all the way to the final, but lost in the last match to three-time tournament champion Jennifer Jones. After the event, Carmody was presented with the Sandra Schmirler Most Valuable Player Award.

The 2011 Prince Edward Island Scotties Tournament of Hearts was held Jan. 27–31 in at the Cornwall Curling Club in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island. The winning team of Suzanne Birt defeated the defending champions, team Kathy O'Rourke and represented Prince Edward Island at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Birt's team finished the round robin with a record of 6–5, just missing the tiebreaker.

The 2011 British Columbia Scotties Tournament of Hearts, British Columbia's women's provincial curling championship, was held January 17–23 at the Cloverdale Curling Club in Surrey, British Columbia. The winning team of Kelly Scott represented team British Columbia at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Scott's team finishing 7-4 in round robin play, moving into a tiebreaker where they were eliminated playing against Nova Scotia.

The 2011 Nova Scotia Scotties Tournament of Hearts was held January 25–30 at the Glooscap Curling Club in Kentville, Nova Scotia. The winning team of Heather Smith-Dacey represented Nova Scotia at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. They finished round robin play with a record of 7-4, winning a tiebreaker against British Columbia. The team lost the 3-4 page playoff game against Ontario, but rebounded by winning the Bronze Medal Game against the same team from Ontario.

The 2011 Saskatchewan Scotties Tournament of Hearts was the 2011 Saskatchewan provincial women's curling championship, held January 26–30 at the Jim Kook Recreation Complex in Outlook, Saskatchewan, Canada. The winning team of Amber Holland represented Saskatchewan at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Holland's team finished the round robin in first place at 9-2, going onto the 1-2 page playoff game, where they lost to team Canada. The team went on to the Semi-Final game, where they defeated Ontario moving on to the final. The team met Jennifer Jones and Team Canada once again, where in the 10th end of play, score tied, Canada with last rock, would steal the win, becoming the first Saskatchewan Team to win the Scotties since 1997, when Sandra Schmirler won her final Scotties, before dying of cancer. Amber Holland and team with returned to the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts as defending champions Team Canada.

The 2008 Prince Edward Island Scotties Tournament of Hearts was held Jan. 18–22 in at the Charlottetown Curling Club in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The winning team was Team Suzanne Gaudet who represented Prince Edward Island, finished with a 3–8 record at the 2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The 2001 Prince Edward Island Scott Tournament of Hearts was held January 19–23 at the Charlottetown Curling Club in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The winning team was Team Shelly Bradley who represented Prince Edward Island, finished with a 7-4 round-robin record, losing the tiebreaker for a place in the semi-finals at the 2001 Scott Tournament of Hearts in Sudbury, Ontario.

The 2015 Prince Edward Island Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship of Prince Edward Island, were held from January 23 to 26 at the Silver Fox Curling & Yacht Club in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The winning Suzanne Birt team represented Prince Edward Island at the 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship. The event was held in conjunction with the 2019 PEI Tankard, the provincial men's championship.

As one of 14 regional associations within Curling Canada, the organization runs the provincial championships that determine who represents the province in the national championships.

The 2020 PEI Scotties Tournament of Hearts Women's Championship, the women's provincial curling championship for Prince Edward Island, was held from January 8 to 12 at the Montague Curling Rink in Montague, Prince Edward Island. The winning Suzanne Birt rink represented Prince Edward Island at the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and finished with a 5–6 record. The winning Suzanne Birt rink represented Prince Edward Island at the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Calgary, Alberta, and finished with a 4–4, just missing the championship round. The event was held in conjunction with the 2021 PEI Tankard, the provincial men's championship.

The 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from January 28 to February 6 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The winning team represented Canada at the 2022 World Women's Curling Championship at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia.
