The 2012 UEFS Futsal Men's Championship was the 10th men's UEFS futsal championship, held in Brest (Belarus) from May 14 to 19, with 9 national teams. Belgium won their first ever European championship defeating the Czech Republic 4-1 in the final.

The 2011–12 season of the Primera División de Fútbol Sala was the 23rd season of top-tier futsal in Spain. It is the first under "Primera División" name. The regular season started on September 9, 2011 and finished on May 11, 2012. The championship playoffs began on May 19 with quarter-finals series and ended with the final series from 12 to 24 June.

The Italian Football Sala Federation, also known by the acronym of FIFS, is the Italian sports federation that promotes in Italy the Football Sala, indoor soccer or futsal, played with the Rules of the Asociación Mundial de Futsal (AMF). It organizes national, international and friendly tournaments for national and club teams / representatives, amateur events and competitions for the disabled. He also organized the Topolino Trophy five times, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Italia, as well as the Mediterranean Cup and the Mundialito Cup. It is based in Milan and the current President is Axel Paderni, in office since July 2009. The 2012–13 season of the Primera División de Fútbol Sala was the 24th season of top-tier futsal in Spain. It was the second season under the "Primera División" name. The regular season started on September 14, 2012 and finished on May 3, 2013. The championship playoffs began on May 18 with quarter-finals series and concluded with the championship final series from 11–22 June.

The 2014 Copa de España de Fútbol Sala was the 25th staging of the Copa de España de Fútbol Sala. It took place in Logroño, La Rioja between 13 and 16 March. The matches were played at Palacio de los Deportes de La Rioja for up to 4,500 seats. The tournament was hosted by La Rioja regional government, Logroño municipality and LNFS. This was the second time that Logroño hosted Copa de España after the 2012 edition.

The Italian National Football Indoor AMF is national Italian team of five-a-side football in the South American version, with the rules of the AMF. It is headed by the Federazione Italiana Football Sala and represents Italy in official or friendly competitions that are reserved for national selections.
