The 2013 AIM Malaysian Indian were held on 12 October 2013 at the Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam, Selangor. Marking the debut and first instalment of the award show. The inaugural AIM Malaysian-Indian music awards show, sponsored by the Ministry of Information, Communications & Culture (MICC). The award is to recognise and honouring Malaysian based Indian artist talents. [1]

Contents

The awards nominations are open to albums, singles and music videos released in Malaysia during the period from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2012 except for the category of Best New Artiste which is only for first album/single released during the period from 1 January 2012 to 31 December 2012. The award show were telecast on Astro Vaanavil.

Anugerah Industri Muzik, commonly known by the acronym AIM, is an award ceremony which celebrates the Malaysian music industry. The award is organized by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia (RIM) and was first held on 15 December 1993. It is Malaysia's equivalent of the Grammy awards. The award is not only focused on Malay-language music produced in Malaysia, but also English, Chinese, and Indian-language music. Separate awards were introduced for the latter two language music subcategories in 1999 and 2013 respectively. One of these, known as the AIM Chinese Music Awards, was held in 1999 and 2001 before encountering a twelve-year hiatus due to insufficient funds.)

Hiresh Haridas, better known by his stage name Reshmonu, is a singer-songwriter from Malaysia who does mostly English songs. He is known for songs such as "Walk Away", "Cintaku Pergi", "Hey Waley" and "Superfine". He is of Malayali descent. In July 2015, he rebranded himself as just Resh, claiming that "Reshmonu" was a part of his "coming-of-age" process.

She was born in Sumedang, West Java, Indonesia on 9 October 1978. SM Entertainment, Anugerah Planet Muzik, Asia Pop 40 & Indonesia Media mention that Rossa is the "Queen of Indonesian Pop." She is one of the most popular artists in Indonesian and Malay-speaking countries, and the most expensive Indonesian singer in Malaysia and Singapore. She is the best-selling Indonesian artist of all time based on album sales, with over twelve million copies sold in the region until 2021. Rossa has produced numerous hit songs and gained Multi-Platinum Award & Million Award for her albums. Since 1999, her albums have been released in Southeast Asia and also Japan.

Chew Sin Huey, also known as Sing Chew, is a Malaysian-born former singer based in Singapore, who was one of the five popular new talents emerged from the Channel U's popular singing talent show, Project SuperStar 2005 in Singapore.

Mohamad Hafiz bin Mohamad Suip is a Malaysian singer, who won the seventh season of Akademi Fantasia, receiving 46 percent of over 4.2 million votes. His debut album, Masih Jelas, was released on 14 July 2009.

The Darjah Yang Amat Mulia Bintang Kenyalang Sarawak is the second highest order group of the orders, decorations, and medals of Sarawak. The order was instituted in 1970, and was redesigned in 1988. Two more ranks were added to the order: the 'Officer' in 1988 and the 'Companion' in 2002.

Kolej Tunku Kurshiah, is a premier boarding school located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. TKC is one of the best all-girls residential school and the first fully residential girls' school in Malaysia. In 2010, the school was awarded with the Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi or High Performance School title, a title awarded to the 20 schools in Malaysia that have met stringent criteria including academic achievement, strength of alumni, international recognition, network, and linkages. The school is specialised in leadership, innovation, and invention.

Datuk M. Magendran PJN DSPN JSM KMN AMS born Magendran M. Munisamy on 6 December 1963 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is the first Malaysian mountain climber to conquer the summit of Mount Everest. Magendran's party ascended the South Col on the southeast ridge. He stepped onto Everest's summit on 23 May 1997, at 11:55 a.m. local time. He was followed by N. Mohanadas, who reached the summit a few minutes later at 12:10 p.m. The two mountaineers were part of the first "Malaysia-Everest Project 97" jointly organised by the Malaysia Mountaineering Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia. Also with their team of ten people was M. Moorthy, a Malaysian of Indian descent.

<i>Fragmen</i> 2014 studio album by Siti Nurhaliza

Fragmen (Fragment) is a 2014 album by Malaysian singer Siti Nurhaliza. It was her 17th studio album and her 16th Malay-language album, released physically on 30 June 2014 by Universal Music Malaysia and her own Siti Nurhaliza Productions. Most of the songs in the album is inspired by her life and experiences. The production of the album saw a collaboration between Malaysian and Indonesian composers, lyricists and producers.

"Lebih Indah" is a single by Malaysian artist, Siti Nurhaliza. The song is composed by Aubrey Suwito, with its lyric written by Ad Samad. This is her first single from her 17th studio album, Fragmen. Originally intended to be a background song for one of the commercials for her SimplySiti product, it was later promoted as a proper single when it was performed live during her Siti Nurhaliza in Symphony concert in July 2013.

"Mikraj Cinta" is a single by Malaysian artist, Siti Nurhaliza. It was released on 21 June 2015 as the lead single from her live album, Unplugged. Composed by Hafiz Hamidun and Fedtri Yahya, the song is included in the album as one of the bonus tracks. Originally a song by Hafiz for himself, it was given to Siti for her performance of "Sirah Rasullulah" in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad's mawlid on 3, 4 and 7 January 2015. The studio version of the song was later included to accompany the release of Unplugged.
