The 2013 IFAF Women's World Championship was the second IFAF Women's World Championship, an American football competition for women. It took place between 30 June and 6 July 2013. The tournament was hosted at the ISS Stadion in Vantaa, Finland. [1] The defending champion, the United States, won its second title after defeating Canada 64–0 in the final. Host team Finland won the bronze medal.

Womens gridiron football

Women's gridiron football, more commonly known as women's American football, women's Canadian football, or simply women's football, is a form of gridiron football played by women. Most leagues play by the same rules as their male counterparts, with one exception: women's leagues use a slightly smaller football. Women primarily play on a semi-professional or amateur level in the United States. Very few high schools or colleges offer the sport solely for women and girls. However, on occasion, it is permissible for a female player to join the otherwise male team.

The most recent tournament, in 2015, featured seven teams.

Myyrmäen jalkapallostadion

Myyrmäen jalkapallostadion, formerly ISS Stadion and Pohjola Stadion is a football stadium in the Myyrmäki district of Vantaa, Finland. It is the homeground of PK-35 Vantaa, its men's representative team plays in the Kolmonen and its women's representative team plays in the top-tier Kansallinen Liiga. The stadium holds 4,700 and was built in 2000.

American Football Association of Finland is the national governing body of American football in Finland. It was founded in 1979 and it is a founding member of the European Federation of American Football, EFAF and International Federation of American Football, IFAF. Since 2000, American football has grown steadily. In 2006 there were 27 clubs playing the sport with over 100 teams and over 1400 players. In 2012, the association's competitions fielded over 150 teams with more than 2200 licensed players.

The United States took home the gold while not letting any team they played score. The second event was held in 2013, with Vantaa, Finland, hosting the games. The United States swept the competitors again, winning the gold medal. Third event was played in 2017 with Canada as the host nation. The U.S. took the gold medal for the third time, again beating the host nation Canada in the final.

The 2014 European Championship was the 13th European Championship of American football. The competition was held in Austria between May 30 and June 7, 2014. The top three teams qualified for the 2015 IFAF World Championship.

The 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League was the 13th edition of the European women's championship for football clubs. The final was held at Estádio do Restelo, Lisbon, Portugal.

Samantha Linda "Sami" Grisafe is an American singer, songwriter, musician, women's football player, activist, and actor. In 2012 Grisafe released Atlantis, a full-length studio album featuring eleven upbeat pop tracks that do well to showcase her powerhouse voice. The United States women's national American football team represents the United States in international women's American football competitions. It is currently ranked no.1 in the IFAF. It is controlled by USA Football and is recognized by the International Federation of American Football (IFAF).

This article describes the qualification for the 2015 IFAF World Championship. The final tournament was to be contested by twelve teams, but five teams that later qualify withdrew from the tournament. Sweden qualified automatically as original hosts of the tournament but was among the teams that withdrew. The United States hosted the tournament instead and would have still automatically qualified as the defending world champions if Sweden did not withdraw from the tournament.

The 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round was played on 11, 13 and 16 August 2015. A total of 32 teams competed in the qualifying round to decide eight of the 32 places in the knockout phase of the 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 2018 European Championship was the 14th European Championship in American football. The final tournament was played in Vantaa, Finland from 29 July to 4 August 2018.

The 2017 IFAF Women's World Championship was the third IFAF Women's World Championship, an American football competition for women. It was held between June 24 and 30, 2017. The tournament was hosted at McLeod Stadium in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. The defending champion is United States.

PK-35 Vantaa (women) Finnish football club

PK-35 Vantaa is a football club based in Vantaa, Finland. The club is "dedicated to women's football" and its representative team plays in the Kansallinen Liiga, the top-tier women's league in Finland. PK-35 Vantaa has won the Finnish Championship six times and the Finnish Women's Cup four times. The club's home ground is the Myyrmäen jalkapallostadion in the Myyrmäki district of Vantaa.

PK-35 Vantaa was a Finnish men's football team, based in Vantaa. It last played in the Veikkausliiga, the top-tier men's football league in Finland. The team was based at the Myyrmäen jalkapallostadion in the Myyrmäki district of Vantaa at the time of the its dissolution, after the 2016 season.
