Accident

The bus was carrying pilgrims to their home from a visit to a Catholic shrine and fell nearly 100 metres (330 ft) feet off a bridge east of Naples. The bus carried nearly 50 passengers. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

The victims were pilgrims coming home from a trip to a Catholic shrine when the bus slid off a road near Monteforte Irpino and fell 30 metres (100 ft) off a bridge.

A bus chartered by Vietnamese pilgrims crashed in Texas on Friday 8 August 2008, killing at least 17 people and injuring dozens more, police said. The bus, carrying 55 people, drove off an overpass bridge of northbound U.S. 75 shortly after midnight and crashed near the town of Sherman, Texas, some 64 miles north of Dallas.
