The 2013-14 São Nicolau Island League season was the competition of the second-tier football in the island of São Nicolau, Cape Verde. It started on 14 December 2013 and finished on 23 March 2014. The tournament was organized by the São Nicolau Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol de São Nicolau, ARFSN). [1] SC Atlético won their 6th title and finished with 32 points and competed in the 2014 Football Championships.

SC Atlético was again the defending team of the title. A total of 8 clubs participated in the competition.

Sport Club Atlético is a football (soccer) club based in Ribeira Brava and plays in São Nicolau Island League and had played in the Premier division in Cape Verde. Its current head is Artemiza Ramos and its coach is Pirico who is since January 2017. Also its honorary president is António Manuel Santos. Its nickname is Encarnados, the same nickname of Portugal's SL Benfica.

Overview

The biggest win was on February 16 where Ultramarina defeated Talho 0-7.

AJAT'SN took the first place spot in week 1, FC Ultramarina took it for 2 weeks, then SC Atlético in week 4, Ultramarina again in week 5, FC Belo Horizonte in week 6, again Ultramarina for two weeks, from week 9 to the end of the season, the rest was taken by SC Atlético.

Ultramarina scored the most goals numbering 32, Talho scored the least numbering four. On the opposites, Atlético conceded the fewest numbering five while Talho conceded the most numbering forty.

Only the first week of March was no competition due to the regional cup competitions thatt took place.

Clube Desportivo Ribeira Brava is a football club that currently plays in the São Nicolau Island League in Cape Verde and is the island's third most popular club. It is based in the Ribeira Brava, the island's largest and the capital on the island of São Nicolau. The team won island titles, first in 1990 and another in 2010. The club currently has four championship titles and a cup title for the island.
