ABC Supply 500

The ABC Supply 500 is an IndyCar Series race held at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. The first Indy car at Pocono was held in 1971. The race was sanctioned by USAC from 1971–1981, and then by CART from 1982–1989, and was known as the Pocono 500. The race was removed from the CART calendar following the 1989 running, due to poor track conditions, as well as poor revenue for the promoter.

The IndyCar Series, currently known as the NTT IndyCar Series under sponsorship, is the premier level of open-wheel racing in North America. The 2008 ABC Supply Company A.J. Foyt 225 was the sixth round of the 2008 IndyCar Series season and took place on June 1, 2008 at the 1.015-mile (1.633 km) Milwaukee Mile, in West Allis, Wisconsin. Marco Andretti took the lead from the pole position, and led the first 40 laps. He was chased early by Scott Dixon and teammate Tony Kanaan. Graham Rahal, who started on the outside of the front row, shuffled back, but remained in the top 5 for the first half of the race. The first half was mostly green, with only a minor caution involving Oriol Servià and another for debris. Later in the first fuel segment, Andretti's handling started to suffer, and Dixon took over the lead. Hélio Castroneves took over second, and Andretti fell back as deep as tenth.

The 2019 NTT IndyCar Series will be the 24th season of the IndyCar Series and the 98th official championship season of American open wheel racing. The premier event will be the 2019 Indianapolis 500, with Will Power entering as the defending winner. Honda will enter as the defending Manufacturers' Cup champion. Scott Dixon will enter the season as the defending National Champion.
