The 2014 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 16th edition of the Asian Men's Handball Championship, held in Isa Town and Manama, Bahrain, from 25 January to 6 February 2014. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2015 World Men's Handball Championship in Qatar. [1]

The 2009 World Women's Handball Championship was the 19th edition, second to take place outside Europe, of the international championship tournament in women's team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). China hosted the event from 5-20 December 2009. Russia successfully contested France in the final, their fourth title.
The 2010 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Denmark and Norway from 7–19 December. It was the first European Championship hosted by two countries. Norway won their overall 5th gold medal, when they defeated first time finalist Sweden in the final. Romania claimed the bronze medal.
The 2010 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 14th edition of the Asian Men's Handball Championship, held in Beirut, Lebanon, from 6 to 19 February 2010. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2011 World Men's Handball Championship in Sweden.
The 2011 World Women's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the international championship tournament in women's Team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Brazil hosted the event from 2-18 December 2011.
The 2015 World Men's Handball Championship was the 24th staging of the World Men's Handball Championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF). The final tournament was held for the first time in Qatar, from 15 January to 1 February 2015. The Qatari bid was selected over those of Norway, Poland and France after a vote by the IHF Council on 27 January 2011, in Malmö, Sweden. This was the third time that the World Championship was hosted in the Middle East And North Africa, after Egypt in 1999 and Tunisia in 2005.
The 2014 European Women's Handball Championship was the eleventh continental tournament for women's national teams, organized by the European Handball Federation. The second jointly hosted edition in the competition's history took place in Hungary and Croatia from 7 to 21 December 2014.
The 2012 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 15th edition of the Asian Men's Handball Championship, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 26 January to 5 February 2012. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2013 World Men's Handball Championship in Spain.
The European qualification for the 2013 World Men's Handball Championship, in Spain, was played over two rounds. The 2013 hosts Spain, the 2011 holders France and the 3 best teams from the 2012 European Men's Handball Championship, Denmark, Serbia and Croatia were qualified automatically for the World Championship. In the first round of qualification, 21 teams who were not participating at the European Championship were split into seven groups. The group winners and the remaining 11 teams from the European Championship played a playoff afterwards to determine the other nine qualifiers.
The 2012 Asian Women's Handball Championship was the 14th Asian Championship, which took place from 7 to 16 December 2012 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2013 World Women's Handball Championship in Serbia.
The 2013 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 19th edition of the tournament and was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 14 – 28 July 2013.
The 2013 IHF Men's Youth World Championship was the 5th edition of the tournament and was held at Hungary from 10 – 23 August 2013.
The 2014 African Men's Handball Championship was the 21st edition of the African Men's Handball Championship, held in Algiers and Chéraga, Algeria, from 16 to 25 January 2014. It acted as the African qualifying tournament for the 2015 World Men's Handball Championship in Qatar.
The 2015 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 20th edition of the tournament and held at Brazil from 19 July to 1 August 2015. The decision to select Brazil as the host was announced 1 August 2014. France won their first title by defeating Denmark 26–24 in the final.
The 2023 IHF World Men's Handball Championship will be the 28th event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It will be held in Poland and Sweden from 11 to 29 January 2023. Denmark are the two-times defending World Champions, having won the 2019 and 2021 edition.

The tournament was held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It also acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2015 World Women's Handball Championship.
The 2016 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship is the 15th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship held from 22 July to 1 August 2016 at Amman, Jordan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2017 Men's Junior World Handball Championship.
The 2017 Asian Club League Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the championship held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. The championship was hosted by Handball Federation of India at the Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad (India) from 20 to 30 November 2017. It was the official competition for men's handball clubs of Asia crowning the Asian champions. Al-Najma Club (Bahrain) wins the championship by beating Al-Duhail Club (Qatar) by 21 – 16 in a low scoring match. The winner qualifies for the 2018 IHF Super Globe.
The 2018 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship was the 8th edition of the championship held from 16 to 26 September 2018 at Amman (Jordan) under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the third time in history that championship was organised in Jordan by the Jordan Handball Federation. The top four teams qualified for the 2019 Men's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Republic of Macedonia.
The 2020 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 19th edition of the championship held under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation in Kuwait City, Kuwait from 16 to 27 January 2020. It acted as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship.
The 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the championship, taking place from 18 to 31 January 2022 in Saudi Arabia under the aegis of the Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It was the second time in history that the championship is organised by the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation (SAHF). It also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship, with the top five teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event jointly hosted by Poland and Sweden.
