The 2013 Campeonato Acreano was the 68th season of the Campeonato Acreano, the top professional football league of the state of Acre. Rio Branco were champions for the 44th time. [1] The championship started 16 March, 2014, and ended on 10 June.

The first stage is in double round-robin. The best four teams qualify to Final Stage.

The champion and the runner-up qualify to the 2015 Copa do Brasil. The best team on the final standing also qualifies to the 2014 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D.

In 2008, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, the third division of the Brazilian League, was contested by 64 clubs, four of which qualified to the Série B. For the second time in history, Atlético Goianiense were crowned Série C champions. Following them, former Série A champions Guarani were also promoted, along with Campinense and Duque de Caxias. The new, revamped 20-club round robin Série C in 2009, will be contested by the clubs which finished from 5th to 20th this season, plus the four relegated from Série B 2008.

In 2009, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth division of the Brazilian League, is currently being contested for first time in history. The competition has 40 clubs, four of which will eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to be contested in 2010.

The competition was contested by 87 teams, either qualified through participating their respective state championships (71), by the CBF Rankings (10) or those qualified for 2014 Copa Libertadores (6). Clubs that qualify for the 2014 Copa Libertadores enter the competition in the 4th stage. The best seven teams of the 2013 Brazilian Championship eliminated until the third round qualified for the 2014 Copa Sudamericana.
