Setyana Daniella Florensia Mapasa is an Australian professional badminton player. Mapasa won a silver medal at the 2013 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team when she represented Indonesia. She officially became an Australian citizen starting from 2014. She was selected to join the national team compete at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast. She was four times women's doubles Oceania champions from 2017–2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe.

Gronya Somerville is an Australian professional badminton player specializing in doubles. She won eight Oceania Championships title, six in the women's doubles and two times in the mixed doubles.

Oliver Leydon-Davis is a New Zealand badminton player. He won the Oceania Championships title in the mixed doubles in 2014, and in the men's doubles in 2020.

This championship is organized by Badminton New Zealand, and will be the 13th edition of the Oceania Badminton Championships. It is being held in Hamilton, New Zealand from 6 to 11 February 2018. The team event will start in 6 February, and will be the qualification stage for the 2018 Thomas & Uber Cup finals to be played in Thailand, while the individual event will start in February 8.

The XIV 2019 Oceania Badminton Championships is the continental badminton championships in Oceania sanctioned by the Badminton Oceania, and Badminton World Federation. This championship is organized by Badminton Victoria, and will be the 14th edition of the Oceania Badminton Championships. It is being held in Melbourne, Australia from 11 to 14 February 2019. The individual event started on 11 February, while the team event will start on 15 February.
