It was held on June 7, 2015, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The event had last appeared in the Women's Road World Cup in 2001, as the Liberty Classic.

The 2016 Philadelphia Cycling Classic was a one-day women's cycle race, held in Philadelphia on June 5 2016. The race is part of the 2016 UCI Women's World Tour. The race was won by the American Megan Guarnier of Boels–Dolmans.
