The 2014 Waterford Crystal Cup was the ninth staging of the Waterford Crystal Cup since its establishment in 2006. The competition began on 12 January 2014 and ended on 7 February 2014.

The Waterford Crystal Cup was an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association from 2006 to 2015 for the top inter-county teams and third-level institutes and universities in the province of Munster in Ireland.

The 2013 Waterford Crystal Cup will be the eighth staging of the Waterford Crystal Cup since its establishment in 2006. The draw for the 2013 fixtures took place on 8 November 2012. The competition will begin on 20 January 2013 and is scheduled to end on 10 February 2013.

The Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Tipperary GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Tipperary and the Tipperary inter-county teams.

On 24 June he made his comeback coming on as a substitute in the first half against Cork in the 2012 Munster Hurling Semi-Final as Tipperary won by 1–22 to 0–24.

John ODwyer Irish hurler

John O'Dwyer is an Irish hurler who plays for Tipperary Senior Championship club Killenaule and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a centre-forward.

The 2013 season was Eamon O'Shea's first year as manager of the Tipperary senior hurling team. On 25 September 2012, he succeeded Declan Ryan as manager. A panel of 26 players was announced in December 2012 to prepare for the Allianz Hurling League. In February Shane McGrath was appointed as captain for the 2013 season.

2014 McGrath Cup

The 2014 McGrath Cup was a Gaelic football competition played by the teams of Munster GAA. The competition differs from the Munster Senior Football Championship as it also features further education colleges and the winning team does not progress to another tournament at All-Ireland level. Kerry were the defending champions after defeating Tipperary in the 2013 final.

The 2014 season was Eamon O'Shea's second year as manager of the Tipperary senior hurling team.

2015 McGrath Cup

The 2015 McGrath Cup is a Gaelic football competition played by the teams of Munster GAA. The competition differs from the Munster Senior Football Championship as it also features further education colleges and the winning team does not progress to another tournament at All-Ireland level. On 24 January, Waterford won their second McGrath Cup after a nine-point win over UCC at Fraher Field in Dungarvan. In front of a crowd of 907,Joey Veale, Maurice O’Gorman and Gavin Nugent got the three goals in a 3-12 to 1-9 victory.

The 2015 Waterford Crystal Cup was the tenth and final staging of the Waterford Crystal Cup. It was replaced by the Munster Senior Hurling League in 2016.

John McGrath is an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer who plays for Tipperary Senior Championship club Loughmore-Castleiney and at inter-county level with the Tipperary senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a right corner-forward.
