The 204–15 Basketligan season was the 22nd season of the Basketligan, the highest professional basketball league in Sweden. Södertälje Kings successfully defended their title by winning the Finals 4–1 over Uppsala.
Basketligan, or simply Ligan, is the premier league for professional basketball in Sweden. The league was originally established in 1992 as Basketligan and was known as that prior to the season of 2006–07, but when the Swedish company Obol Investment signed an agreement with the Swedish Basketball Federation in early October 2006, the league was renamed Obol Basketball League (OBL). In January 2007 the name was changed to Ligan, meaning simply the League.

Södertälje Kings is a basketball team from Södertälje, Stockholm, Sweden, playing in the Swedish Basketball League. The team is the men's representative team of the club Södertälje BBK. The teams home arena is the Täljehallen, which has a capacity of 2,000 people. Södertälje is the most successful team ever in Sweden, having won a record 10 championships, 3 more than the second most winners LF Basket Norrbotten.

The club was established in 2012 out of the KFUM Umeå women's basketball section "Umeå Comets". Debuting in Basketligan dam during the 2012-2013 season, the women's team ended up fifth and made it to the semifinals, before losing to the Norrköping Dolphins. The club also plays in the BWBL.

Södertälje Kings was the defending champion, and successfully reclaimed its title. In the Finals, Södertalje had a clean sweep over Norrköping 4–0 to capture its 11th title.
