Notes:
FC Helios Kharkiv is a Ukrainian football club located in Kharkiv, Ukraine. From 2003 to 2018 the club competed at professional level. In 2018 it was expected to be succeeded by FC Kobra Kharkiv, but unsuccessfully. FC Helios dissolved its professional team, but kept its football academy which competes at regional level.
FC Sumy was a Ukrainian football team based in the city of Sumy, which used to play in the Persha Liha. In April 2019 the Ukrainian Football Federation deprived the club of its professional status.
The 2008–09 Ukrainian Second League was the 18th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions are divided into two groups – A and B.
The 2010–11 Ukrainian Second League was the 20th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions were divided into two groups according to geographical location in the country – A is western and northern Ukraine and B is eastern and southern Ukraine.
The 2011–12 Ukrainian Second League was the 21st season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. There are two groups of competition divided by region. Both Group competitions began on July 23, 2011. The competition had a winter break from November 6, 2012 and until April 2, 2012. The group competitions will complete on 28 May 2012. The championship game was played between the top teams of each group competition on 2 June 2012.
The 2012–13 Ukrainian First League will be the 22nd since its establishment. The competition commenced on 13 July 2012 when Obolon Kyiv visited Sumy and played a goalless draw against FC Sumy. The competition had a winter break that started 25 November 2012 and resumed on 23 March 2013.
The 2014–15 Ukrainian First League was the 24th since its establishment. The competition commenced on 26 July 2014 with seven matches. Due to sponsorship reasons the league is called Favbet League 1. The competition was on winter recess from 17 November until 20 March when the competition resumed with the Round 18 match between FC Ternopil and MFC Mykolaiv.

The 2015–16 Ukrainian Second League was the 25th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competition commenced on 26 July 2015 with a full round of matches. From 1 November 2015 to 26 March 2016 the competition was on winter break. The competition resumed with Round 16 and completed on 1 June 2016.
The 2017–18 Ukrainian First League was the 27th since its establishment. The competition commenced on 14 July 2017 when Zhemchuzhyna Odesa hosted MFC Mykolaiv. After the completion of Round 22 on 18 November 2017, the competition entered a winter break and resumed the spring session on 18 March 2018 and complete the competition on 19 May 2018.
The 2018–19 Ukrainian First League is the 28th since its establishment. The competition began on 21 July 2018 with the match between Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk and Balkany Zorya. The competition was in recess for a winter break which started after the completion of Round 18 on 18 November 2018. The competition resumed on 24 March 2019 and expected to end 25 May 2019.
