The 2015 ISF Men's World Championship was an international softball tournament held in Saskatoon, Canada from 26 June-5 July 2015. [1] It was the 14th time the World Championship took place and the third time Saskatoon hosted the tournament.

The Women's Softball World Cup is a fastpitch softball tournament for women's national teams held historically every four years, now every two years, by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). The tournament, originally known as the ISF Women's World Championship, was sanctioned by the International Softball Federation (ISF) until that body's 2013 merger with the International Baseball Federation to create the WBSC. The number of teams in the tournament began at five in its inaugural event in 1965, went to a high of 28 for the 1994 edition, and now the WBSC Code legislates that the maximum number of teams that may participate is 16. There are qualifying tournaments that determine which countries will play at the World Cup.

The 2002 ISF Women's World Championship for softball was held July 26-August 4, 2002 in Saskatoon, Canada. The United States, which went undefeated for the tournament, won a fifth straight world championship with a 1-0 victory over Japan. The first four teams qualified for the 2004 Olympics.

The New Zealand men's national softball team is the national softball team for New Zealand. They have won the ISF Men's World Championship seven times, becoming World Champions in 1976, 1984, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2013 and 2017. They also won the inaugural Commonwealth Championships in 2006. The "Black Sox" name is one of many national team nicknames related to the All Blacks as well as to famous "Sox" baseball teams. The female team is known as the White Sox

The Men's Softball World Cup, known through 2015 as the ISF Men's World Championship, is a softball tournament for the best national men's teams in the world. From 1966 to 2013 it was held every four years, first by the International Softball Federation (ISF) and from 2019 an onward it is held every two years by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the 16 best teams in the world compete.

Denmark Men's National Softball Team has been competing internationally since 1985. The team's best result is winning the 2010 European Championship in Havlíčkův Brod in the Czech Republic.

The Canada men's national softball team represents Canada in international softball. They are overseen by Softball Canada, the governing body of softball in Canada.

Japan men's national softball team is the national team for Japan. The 1988 World Championships were held in Saskatoon, Canada. The team played 13 games in the round robin round. Japan beat Australia 4–1 in one game in this round. The team competed at the 1992 ISF Men's World Championship in Manila, Philippines where they finished with 7 wins and 2 losses. The team competed at the 1996 ISF Men's World Championship in Midland, Michigan where they finished with 10 wins and 5 losses. The team competed at the 2000 ISF Men's World Championship in East London, South Africa where they finished second. The team competed at the 2004 ISF Men's World Championship in Christchurch, New Zealand where they finished fifth. The 2014 Asian Men's Softball Championship was an international softball tournament which featured six nations which was held from 16 to 20 December 2014. The games were held at the Kallang Softball Diamond Stadium in Singapore. The top three teams qualified for the 2015 ISF Men's World Championship which was held in Saskatoon, Canada. Japan became champions of the tournament winning their sixth consecutive title.

The 2017 ISF Men's World Championship is an international softball tournament that took place in Whitehorse, Canada from 7–16 July 2017. It was the 15th time the World Championship took place and the first time Whitehorse hosted the tournament.
