2015 Russian Circuit Racing Series

The 2015 Russian Circuit Racing Series season was the second season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It was the first season with TCR class cars, competing alongside the Super 2000 TC2 and the Super Production cars.^[1] It is also included Touring Light, National and Junior's championships, with all of them have their own races during the RCRS weekends. Aleksey Dudukalo won the drivers' championship, driving a SEAT Leon Cup Racer, and Lukoil Racing Team won the teams' championship.

All teams and drivers were Russian-registered, excepting Mika Salo, who raced under Finnish Racing license.

Calendar and results

The 2015 calendar consists in seven rounds, with all events scheduled to be held in Russia. The fifth round was scheduled to be held in Autodrom Moscow, but it was later moved to Smolensk Ring. The seventh round was scheduled to be held in Sochi Autodrom, but it was later moved to Kazan Ring.^[3]

The Smolensk Ring is a circuit in western Russia near the town of Safonovo in the settlement of Verkhnedneprovsky. It is located 90 km (56 mi) east of its namesake city of Smolensk and about 250 km (160 mi) west of Moscow. Moscow Raceway is an FIA-approved motor racing venue, which is situated in the Volokolamsky District of Moscow Oblast, near the villages of Sheludkovo and Fedyukovo, 97 km (60 mi) from Moscow, Russia. It opened on 13 July 2012 for its first event as the fifth round of the World Series by Renault becoming the first major international motor-sport race track event in Russia. It is an FIA Grade 1 circuit, which means that it has all the requirements necessary to host a Formula One race, though the Sochi Autodrom formerly hosted Russian Formula One races during the existence of the Russian Grand Prix as a World Championship event.

The 2015 SMP F4 Championship season in motorsport, was the inaugural season of the SMP F4 Championship, a racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. It was a motor racing series for the North European Zone (NEZ) held in Estonia, Finland and Russia. The 2015 season began on 16 May at Ahvenisto in Finland and finished on 3 October at the auto24ring in Estonia, after seven triple header rounds.

The 2015 TCR Asia Series season was the first season of the TCR Asia Series. The season began at Sepang on 5 September and finished on 22 November at the Guia Circuit in Macau, after four rounds.

Nattanid Leewattanavaragul is a Thai racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series and TCR Thailand Touring Car Championship. Having previously competed in the Thailand Super Series and Toyota Motorsport Trophy Thailand amongst others.

The 2018 SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series was the fifth season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It was the fourth season with TCR class cars.

The 2022 SMP Russian Circuit Racing Series is the ninth season of the Russian Circuit Racing Series, organized by SMP Racing. It's the eighth season with TCR class cars. In 2022, the competition's held in eight classes: Touring, Touring Light, Super Production, S1600, GT4, CN, Historic LADA Cup and Time Attack Unlimited.
