2015 Western Canada Cup

The 2015 Western Canada Cup was the Western Canadian Junior A ice hockey championship played at the Casman Centre in Fort McMurray, Alberta from April 25 to May 3, 2015. It determined the two Western seeds for the 2015 Royal Bank Cup, the Canadian Junior A National Championship. The Penticton Vees and Portage Terriers finished first and second, respectively. As the Terriers already secured a berth in the Royal Bank Cup as the host team, the second runner-up Melfort Mustangs were awarded the second Western seed. [1] [2]

Marie-Philip Poulin Canadian ice hockey player

Marie-Philip Poulin-Nadeau is a Canadian ice hockey forward, currently with the PWHPA and who serves as captain of the Canadian national team. A three-time Olympic and two-time World champion with the Canadian national team, Poulin famously scored the game-winning goal in the gold medal games in three out of four of the Olympics in which she competed, for which she was dubbed Captain Clutch by her teammates and the media. Following another game-winning goal at the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship, she completed an unprecedented "golden goal hat trick" at major international championships. U Sports mens soccer

U Sports men's soccer is the highest level of play at the university level under the auspices of U Sports, Canada's governing body for university sports. As of the 2018 season, 48 teams from Canadian universities are divided into four conferences, drawing from the four regional associations of U Sports: Canada West Universities Athletic Association, Ontario University Athletics, Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec, and Atlantic University Sport. After interconference playoffs have been played, eight teams compete for the Sam Davidson Memorial Trophy, awarded to the U Sports Men's Soccer Championship team. It is currently held by the Montréal Carabins who defeated the Carleton Ravens on November 21, 2021.

Western Canada Cup

The Western Canada Cup (WCC); was the Junior 'A' ice hockey championship for western Canada from 2013 to 2017. The annual five-team event consisted of the host team and the champions from the four western leagues, and was used to determine the two Western seeds for the national championship, known at that time as the RBC Cup.

The 2014 Western Canada Cup was played at Credit Union Place in Dauphin, Manitoba from April 26 to May 4, 2014. The Yorkton Terriers and host Dauphin Kings finished first and second, respectively, to each earn a berth in the 2014 Royal Bank Cup.

The 2014–15 SIJHL season is the 14th season of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL). The five teams of the SIJHL will play 56-game schedules.

The 2014–15 CIHL season was the inaugural season of the Canadian International Hockey League (CIHL). The four teams of the CIHL played 42-game schedules.

The Yukon Scotties Tournament of Hearts is the women's territorial championship for women's curling in the Yukon. Beginning in 2015, the event serves as a direct qualifier to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championships.
