The 2015 X-League Indoor Football season was the second season for the X-League. The biggest change in the off-season is the addition of the Cape Fear Heroes, Corpus Christi Fury, Florida Tarpons, Rio Grande Valley Sol, Marion Blue Racers, and Bloomington Edge.

Playoffs

Originally planned as a three-team playoff, the X-Bowl was moved up to June 6, 2015, and the post-season shortened after the Cape Fear Heroes were suspended by the league and the St. Louis Attack agreed to forgo their third-place playoff berth. [1]

The Bloomington Edge are a professional indoor football team based in Bloomington, Illinois. While it was in operation, the team hosted home games at Grossinger Motors Arena. Originally named the Bloomington Extreme, the team was a member of United Indoor Football (UIF), and joined the Indoor Football League (IFL) in 2009 during the UIF and Intense Football League merger. They left the IFL for the Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL) in 2013, and in 2015 the CPIFL merged with the Lone Star Football League (LSFL) to create Champions Indoor Football (CIF), where Bloomington did not follow and joined X-League Indoor Football (X-League). Following the 2015 season the Edge joined the CIF. The Edge then announced it had rejoined the IFL for the 2018 season, but a court ruling prevented the team from joining the league until 2019, however, they were not included in that season's schedule.

The 2006 United Indoor Football season was preceded by 2005 and succeeded by 2007. It was the second season of the UIF. The league champions were the Sioux Falls Storm, who defended their title by defeating the Lexington Horsemen in United Bowl II and acquired a perfect season.

The 2008 United Indoor Football season was preceded by 2007. It was the fourth and final season of the UIF. For this year, there were 8 teams playing a 15-game season schedule with all teams playing 14 regular season games from Saturday, March 8 to Saturday, June 14. The winning team was decided in United Bowl IV on Saturday, July 12. For the fourth-straight year, the Sioux Falls Storm became the UIF champion as they beat the Bloomington Extreme.

The River City Raiders were a professional indoor football team based in St. Charles, Missouri. They play their home games at Family Arena. As of February 2018 the River City Raiders website and social media pages have been removed. No formal announcement has ever been publicly made by the Raiders or their ownership after their final 2017 regular season game regarding their future or folding.

The Cape Fear Heroes are a professional indoor football team based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, that are on hiatus as of the 2020 season. The Heroes are owned by Barbara Spigner.

X-League Indoor Football (X-League) was a professional indoor football league that began play in 2014. The league was co-chaired by Michael Mink and Kacee Smith. On September 19, 2015, the league announced a merger with the future "North American Indoor Football" but later stated the merger would not go forward as announced and disbanded.

The 2012 American Indoor Football season was the league's seventh overall season, and first under the AIF name. AIF Championship Bowl V was won by the Cape Fear Heroes who defeated the California Eagles and completed a perfect 9-0 record.

The Rio Valley Grande Sol were a professional indoor football team based in Hidalgo, Texas. They were members of the X-League Indoor Football (XLIF) in their final season. The Sol played their home games at the State Farm Arena. They were founded in 2014 as members of the Lone Star Football League but withdrew their team from the league after being taken out of the championship game unfairly after their inaugural regular season.

The 2014 American Indoor Football season was the ninth season of American Indoor Football (AIF). The Baltimore Mariners defeated the Cape Fear Heroes 45-44 to claim their second ever AIF title.

The 2013 American Indoor Football season was the eighth season of American Indoor Football (AIF). The Harrisburg Stampede defeated the Cape Fear Heroes 57-42 to win the 2013 AIF Championship.

The 2015 Marion Blue Racers season was the fifth season for the indoor football franchise, and their first in the X-League Indoor Football.

Supreme Indoor Football (SIF) is an inactive professional indoor football league based in the Southeastern United States.

The West Michigan Ironmen are a professional indoor football team based in Muskegon, Michigan, the Ironmen play their home games at L.C. Walker Arena. The team joined American Indoor Football (AIF) in 2016. The AIF ceased operations following the 2016 season, leaving the Ironmen without a league. They joined Champions Indoor Football for the 2017 season. For the 2018 season, the team was originally announced to have joined the Indoor Football League, however, the team was forced to sit out the 2018 Indoor Football League season. The team was then sold and played in the regional Midwest Professional Indoor Football for the 2018 season until they could rejoin the CIF in 2019. However, they were not among the list of members for the 2019 CIF season and instead joined the American Arena League.

The 2015 Florida Tarpons season was the 4th season for the franchise and 1st as a member of X-League Indoor Football (X-League).

The 2015 Bloomington Edge season was the tenth season for the American indoor football franchise, and their first in the X-League Indoor Football.

The 2015 St. Louis Attack season was the third season for the indoor football franchise, and their second in the X-League Indoor Football.

Champions Bowl III was the third title game of Champions Indoor Football (CIF). It was played on June 23, 2017, and won by the Texas Revolution.

The 2019–2020 MPBL season for sponsorship reasons with Chooks-to-Go, is the third season of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League and the second full season with a national scope. It was officially opened June 12, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, which coincided with the Philippine Independence Day. From 26 teams in the last conference, the third season will feature now 31 teams.
