Nancy Carillo de la Paz is a volleyball player from Cuba.
The China women's national volleyball team represents the People's Republic of China in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches governed by Chinese Volleyball Association. They are one of the leading and most successful squads in women's international volleyball, having won ten championships titles in the three major international competitions of volleyball, including five World Cups, two World Championships and three Olympic titles. The current head coach is Cai Bin.
The Montreux Volley Masters is an international invitational tournament for national teams in women's volleyball hosted by the Swiss Volley. Held annually in Montreux, Switzerland since 1984, it is the tournament that opens the international season for national teams.
Kenia Carcaces Opón is a Cuban volleyball player who competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth with the Cuban team in the Olympic tournament. She won the 2007 Pan American Games gold medal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Hui Ruoqi is a former Chinese volleyball player. She is the Outside Hitter and the fifteenth Captain of China women's national volleyball team, and plays for Jiangsu. She retired in 2018.
Jiangsu Zenith Steel Women's Volleyball Club is a Nanjing-based professional volleyball team competing in the Chinese Volleyball League. As the provincial team it represents Jiangsu at national competitions. The team won their first league champion title in season 2016/17.
The 2012 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2012 AVC Cup for Women was the third edition of the Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Kazakhstan Volleyball Federation (KVF). The tournamen was held in Baluan Sholak Palace of Culture and Sports, Almaty, Kazakhstan from 10 to 16 September 2021.

The Group 1 Final Round which served as the volleyball test event of the 2016 Summer Olympics was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 2015 Spikers' Turf season was the inaugural season of the men's volleyball league Spikers' Turf, the counterpart of the women's Shakey's V-League. In 2014, the Shakey's V-League introduced a men's division during its 21st conference. The following year, Sports Vision, the organizers of the Shakey's V-League decided to spin-off the men's vision as a separate tournament, giving birth to the Spikers' Turf.
Zhang Changning is a Chinese indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player. She is a member of China women's national volleyball team. On club level, she plays for Jiangsu Zenith Steel.
