The 2016 PDC Players Championship consisted of 20 darts tournaments on the 2016 PDC Pro Tour.

Prize money

The prize money for the Players Championship events were increased from 2015 levels, with each event having a prize fund of £75,000, up 25% from the previous £60,000.

Ian White, nicknamed Diamond, is an English professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. White is the winner of 13 PDC ranking events, and has reached many quarter-finals in majors. In 2019, he reached his first major semi final.

The 2016 Cash Converters Players Championship Finals was the ninth edition of the PDC darts tournament, the Players Championship Finals, which saw the top 64 players from the 20 Players Championship events of 2016 taking part, doubling the number of participants. The tournament took place at Butlin's Minehead in Minehead, England, between 25–27 November 2016.

The 2017 Unibet European Championship was the tenth edition of the Professional Darts Corporation tournament, the European Championship, which saw the top players from the twelve European tour events compete against each other. The tournament took place from 26–29 October 2017 at the Ethias Arena in Hasselt, Belgium.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 PDC World Darts Championship</span> 28th edition of the PDCs World Championship event

The 2021 PDC World Darts Championship was the 28th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The collapse of the BDO in September 2020 and subsequent postponement of the World Darts Federation-sanctioned event meant that this edition was the first undisputed World Championship in the sport since John Lowe won the Embassy in 1993. The event took place at the Alexandra Palace in London from 15 December 2020 – 3 January 2021, and was played behind closed doors, except for the first day of the tournament, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 PDC Players Championship consists of 30 darts tournaments on the 2022 PDC Pro Tour.

The 2021 PDC Players Championship consisted of 30 darts tournaments on the 2021 PDC Pro Tour. Like with the second half of 2020, these event were grouped into Super Series events, with 8 events taking place throughout the year.

The 2020 PDC Players Championship was to consist of 30 darts tournaments on the 2020 PDC Pro Tour. However, after only 8 events had taken place, the COVID-19 pandemic decimated the schedule.

The 2019 PDC Players Championship consisted of 30 darts tournaments on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour.

The 2018 PDC Players Championship consisted of 22 darts tournaments on the 2018 PDC Pro Tour.

The 2017 UK Open Qualifiers consisted of 6 darts tournaments on the 2017 PDC Pro Tour, used to determine seedings for the 2017 UK Open.

The 2017 PDC Players Championship consisted of 22 darts tournaments on the 2017 PDC Pro Tour.
