The 2016 Premier Futsal season is the inaugural season of Premier Futsal. The season features six teams each playing four matches before culminating to the finals. The league started on 15 July 2016 and ended on 24 July 2016. [1]

Manchester United Football Club Under-21s is the most senior of Manchester United's youth teams and the club's former reserve team. They play in the Premier League 2, the highest tier of the Professional Development League. The team is effectively Manchester United's second-string side, but is limited to five outfield players and one goalkeeper over the age of 21 per game following the introduction of new regulations from the 2022–23 season, a change from three outfield players over age 23 introduced in 2016–17. The 2006–07 season was Manchester United's 15th season in the Premier League, and their 32nd consecutive season in the top division of English football. United enjoyed a much more successful season than the previous three seasons, winning the Premier League by a six-point margin over Chelsea. They also reached the final of the FA Cup and the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, losing to Chelsea and Milan respectively. However, for all their success in the major competitions, the club was unable to defend the League Cup title they had won in 2005–06, losing to Southend United in the Fourth Round.

The 2004–05 season was Manchester United's 13th season in the Premier League, and their 30th consecutive season in the top division of English football.

The 2016 Premier Futsal was the inaugural tournament of Premier Futsal. The season featured six teams, each playing four matches before culminating to the finals. The league started on 15 July 2016 and ended on 24 July 2016.

The 2017 Premier Futsal was the second edition of Premier Futsal, which debuted in July 2016. Semi-finals were played in bilateral format where Mumbai Warriors beat Telugu Tigers and Delhi Dragons beat Bengaluru Royals. Mumbai Warriors won against Delhi Dragons 3–2 and won its second consecutive title.
