Burgan SC

Burgan Sports Club is one of the newer established sporting clubs in Kuwait, with Al-Qurain SC and has been registered to compete in Kuwait Football Association's domestic competition, the VIVA Premier League, Kuwait Emir Cup, Kuwait Crown Prince Cup, Kuwait Super Cup and Kuwait Federation Cup starting from the 2014–15 official football season. It is based in Al Farwaniyah.

Originally the league was structured at 8 teams but Kuwait FA announced its expansion in football so last seasons 2017–18 relegated team have been un-relegated and 2017–18 Kuwaiti Division One winners Al-Shabab SC and losing play-off team Al-Fahaheel FC will all compete this season.

Al-Jahra SC

Al Jahra Sporting Club is a Kuwaiti professional football (soccer) club based in Jahra City. They won the Kuwaiti league once, in 1990. They participated in the Kuwaiti Premier League 21 times, most recently in the 2007–2008 season. Al Jahra reached the Kuwait Emir Cup final twice in recent times, 1996 and 2002, where they lost to Al Arabi 1–2 and Kuwait Club 0–1.

Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium geographical object

Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City, Kuwait. Completed in 2009, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,001 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes and parking lot with a 6,000 car capacity. Qadsia SC association football club

Qadsia Sporting Club is primarily an association football club. Based in Kuwait City, Qadsia Club is one of the most popular clubs in Kuwait. Al Qadsia was founded in 1953 and it was called Al Jazira before being renamed to Qadsia SC on 20 October 1960. Qadsia currently plays in the Kuwaiti Premier League and has won this league 17 times, as the most winning club in the league.

The 2011–12 Kuwaiti Premier League season was the 50th since its establishment. The season started on 30 December with the regular league season finishing on 1 June. A relegation play-off match was needed to end the campaign on the 5 and 8 June.

So moving forward any new team to be founded and join football would join the Kuwaiti Division One.
