Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Ternate, simply known as Persiter, is an Indonesian football club based in Ternate. They currently compete in the Liga 3 and their home stadium is Gelora Kie Raha.

Gelora Kie Raha Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Ternate City, North Maluku, Indonesia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is used as the home stadium for Persiter Ternate. The stadium has been inaugurated since 1958, currently with a capacity of 15,000 people.

The 2016 ISC Liga Nusantara or 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship C season is the second edition of Liga Nusantara after the Second Division and Third Division merged on 2014 season. PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) are responsible for administrating the league. Plans to change Liga 2's operator were shelved for this season and will be postponed to at least the 2024–2025 season.
