The 2018 Conference USA men's soccer tournament (known as the 2018 Air Force Reserve Men's Soccer Championship for sponsorship purposes) was the 24th edition of the tournament. Kentucky received Conference USA's automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship by winning the final match over Charlotte by a score of 1–0.

The 2011 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament was a single-elimination tournament involving 48 teams to determine the champion of the 2011 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The 53rd edition of the tournament began on November 17, 2011 and culminated with the North Carolina Tar Heels defeating the Charlotte 49ers, 1–0, in the final on December 13 at Regions Park in Hoover, Alabama.
The 2011 ACC Men's Soccer Tournament was the 25th edition of the tournament, which determined the men's college soccer champion of the Atlantic Coast Conference, as well as the conference's automatic berth into the 2011 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. The tournament began on November 7, with N.C. State defeating Virginia Tech 1–0 in a play-in fixture. The ACC Championship was played on November 13 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina with North Carolina defeating Boston College 3–1 in the final.

The 2016 FIU Panthers football team represented Florida International University (FIU) in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Panthers played their home games at the FIU Stadium in Miami, Florida, and competed in the East Division of Conference USA (C–USA). They were led by fourth-year head coach Ron Turner until he was fired on September 25, 2016. Defensive coordinator Ron Cooper was promoted to interim head coach for the remainder of the season. They finished the season 4–8, 4–4 in C-USA play to finish in fourth place the East Division.

This would mark the final C-USA Tournament played as the conference stopped sponsoring men's soccer after the 2021 season when it lost all nine of its members due to conference realignment.
The 2024 Sun Belt Conference men's soccer tournament was the 29th edition of the Sun Belt Conference men's soccer tournament. The tournament ran from November 10 to November 17, 2024. West Virginia won the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) tournament and with it the SBC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I National Tournament.
