The 2018 Dallas Cup , known as the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the thirty-ninth edition of a youth football competition held in the United States. [1] Competitions were held at every age from U13s to U19s. The U14 and U19 levels also had additional competitions, known as the U14s UDN and the Gordon Jago Supergroup respectively. [1]

Frisco is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, located in Collin and Denton counties. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex (DFW) and about 25 miles (40 km) from both Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Its population was 200,509 in the 2020 U.S. census.
Texas Stadium was an American football stadium located in Irving, Texas, a suburb west of Dallas. Opened on October 24, 1971, it was known for its distinctive hole in the roof, the result of abandoned plans to construct a retractable roof.
The Cotton Bowl is an outdoor stadium in Dallas, Texas, United States. Opened in 1930 as Fair Park Stadium, it is on the site of the State Fair of Texas, known as Fair Park.
Riders Field, formerly known as Dr Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark and Dr Pepper Ballpark, is a baseball park in Frisco, Texas, United States. The home of the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders of the Texas League, it opened on April 3, 2003, and can seat up to 10,216 people. Though primarily a venue for Minor League Baseball games, the facility also hosts high school and college baseball tournaments, and other public and private events throughout the year. It has been the site of three Texas League All-Star Games.

AT&T Stadium is a retractable-roof stadium in Arlington, Texas, United States. It serves as the home of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL), and was completed on May 27, 2009. It is also the home of the Cotton Bowl Classic, the Big 12 Championship Game, and the Southwest Classic. The stadium is one of 11 US venues set to host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The facility, owned by the City of Arlington, has also been used for a variety of other activities, such as concerts, basketball games, soccer, college and high-school football contests, rodeos, motocross, Spartan Races and professional wrestling. It replaced the partially covered Texas Stadium, which served as the Cowboys' home from 1971 through the 2008 season.
Comerica Center is a multi-purpose arena in Frisco, Texas. It is the home of the Texas Legends of the NBA G League and the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League, as well as the executive offices and practice facility of the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars. The arena is also used for concerts and other live entertainment events. It seats between 5,000 and 7,000 people and has a 2,100-vehicle parking garage.
The Dallas Cup is an annual international football tournament for invited youth teams. The tournament was established in 1980 and is held in Dallas, Texas, with FC Dallas serving as its host club. Venues used for the tournament include the Cotton Bowl and Toyota Stadium. The Dallas Cup includes divisions ranging from U-12 to U-19 in the Boys' tournament and U-15 through U-19 in the Dallas Cup Girls' Invitational presented by Mary Kay, which features girls' age groups. The FC Midtjylland is the current champion of the elite U19 Gordon Jago Super Group. The first ever Dallas Cup saw an English club side from South London, St. Thomas More, win the U14 cup and elite international competition has been a cornerstone for the tournament ever since.

The First Responder Bowl is an NCAA post-season college football bowl game played annually in the Dallas, Texas, area. The bowl was first held on January 1, 2011, and since 2014 has been contested in late December. The bowl was held at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park in Dallas through the 2018 game. Since the Cotton Bowl was being used for the 2020 NHL Winter Classic and was not available, the 2019 edition of the bowl was played at Gerald J. Toyota Stadium is a soccer-specific stadium located in Frisco, a suburb of Dallas, Texas, United States. Built and owned by the city of Frisco, the 20,500-seat stadium opened in 2005. Its primary tenants are Major League Soccer club FC Dallas and the Frisco Independent School District, which supported the construction to host their high school football games. It also hosts the annual NCAA Division I Football Championship, the title game of college football's Football Championship Subdivision, and the annual Frisco Bowl.
North Dallas is an area of numerous communities and neighborhoods in Dallas, Texas. The phrase "North Dallas" is also sometimes used to include any suburb or exurb north of Dallas proper within the metropolitan area. The majority of North Dallas is located in Dallas County, while a small portion is located in Collin and Denton counties. North Dallas generally includes areas of Dallas north of Northwest Highway, along with Lake Highlands and areas of Dallas north of IH-635 known as Far North Dallas. The 2018 CONCACAF Women's Championship was the 10th edition of the CONCACAF Women's Championship, the quadrennial international football championship organized by CONCACAF for the women's national teams of the North, Central American and Caribbean region. Eight teams played in the tournament, which took place from 4 to 17 October 2018 in the United States.
The 2017 Frisco Bowl was a college football bowl game that was played on December 20, 2017, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, United States. The first annual Frisco Bowl, it featured the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs of Conference USA and the SMU Mustangs of the American Athletic Conference. It began at 7:00 p.m. CST and aired on ESPN. It was one of the 2017–18 bowl games that concluded the 2017 FBS football season. Sponsored by DXL, a retailer of men's big and tall apparel, the game was officially known as the DXL Frisco Bowl. The Bulldogs decisively beat the Mustangs by a score of 51–10.
The 2020 NHL Winter Classic was an outdoor ice hockey game played in the National Hockey League (NHL) on January 1, 2020, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. The 12th edition of the Winter Classic, it matched Dallas Stars against the Nashville Predators; the Stars won, 4–2. This was the first NHL outdoor game for both teams. With a sold-out crowd of 85,630, it was the second-most attended game in NHL history.
Group A of the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup took place from 10 to 18 July 2021 in Arlington's AT&T Stadium, Dallas' Cotton Bowl and Frisco's Toyota Stadium. The group consisted of El Salvador, Guatemala, defending champions Mexico, and Trinidad and Tobago.
