The North American section of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup qualification acts as qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup, for national teams which are members of the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). This tournament was held in Edmonton, Canada. The eventual winner will earn the right to compete in the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup. [1]

The 2012 Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the seventh edition of the annual men's volleyball tournament, played by eight countries over July, 2012 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The event served as a qualifier for the 2013 FIVB Volleyball World League qualification.
The 2014 Women's U23 Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the second edition of the bi-annual women's volleyball tournament, played by eight countries from September 7–13, 2013 in Ica and Chincha Alta, Peru. At the end of the tournament, the top two teams from NORCECA and the best placed of the CSV qualified for 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship, to be held in Ankara, Turkey. Colombia (CSV), Cuba and Dominican Republic (NORCECA) qualified for the World Championship.

The tournament was held in Pinar del Río, Cuba from 3 to 5 June 2022. The winners Cuba qualified for the 2023 Challenger Cup. But, as Cuba later won the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup and qualified for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, the runners-up Dominican Republic succeeded to the 2023 Challenger Cup qualification.
