The 2009 Newfoundland and Labrador Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Newfoundland and Labrador's women's provincial curling championship, will be held January 21–25 at the Bally Haly Golf and Curling Club in St. John's. The winner represents team Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2009 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Victoria, British Columbia.
Stacie Curtis is a curler originally from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. She is a four-time provincial junior champion, three time provincial women's champion and 2007 Canadian Junior champion and World Junior silver medalist.
The 2012 Newfoundland and Labrador Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Newfoundland and Labrador's women's provincial curling championship, was held from January 18 to 22 at the ReMax Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The winning team, of Heather Strong, represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Red Deer, Alberta, where they finished with a 4–7 record.
The 2016 Newfoundland and Labrador Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the women's provincial curling championship for Newfoundland and Labrador, was held from January 28 to 30 at the Re/Max Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The winning Stacie Curtis team represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2016 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

The 2017 Newfoundland and Labrador Men's Curling Championship, the men's provincial curling championship for Newfoundland and Labrador, was held from January 26 to 29 at the Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The winning team represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2017 Tim Hortons Brier from the Mile One Centre in St. John's. This will be the second time the winner will be the hosting provincial team in the history of the Brier.
The 2017 Newfoundland and Labrador Women's Curling Championship, the women's provincial curling championship for Newfoundland and Labrador, was held from January 26 to 29 at the Bally Haly Golf & Curling Club in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The winning Stacie Curtis rink represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2017 Scotties Tournament of Hearts from the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines.
The 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 16 to 24 at the Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The winning team represented Canada at the 2019 World Women's Curling Championship held from March 16 to 24 at the Silkeborg Sportscenter in Silkeborg, Denmark. The final game featured the largest comeback in Scotties Finals history. Alberta's Chelsea Carey came back from a 5–1 deficit, winning the championship 8–6 thanks to 5 total steal points in the second half, and two dramatic misses by Ontario's Rachel Homan.

The 2023 Newfoundland and Labrador Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the women's provincial curling championship for Newfoundland and Labrador, was held from January 26 to 29 at the RE/MAX Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. The winning Stacie Curtis rink represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, British Columbia, and finished eighth in Pool B with a 2–6 record. The event was held in conjunction with the 2023 Newfoundland and Labrador Tankard, the provincial men's championship.
