The 2018 Women's African Volleyball Clubs Championship was the 29th edition of the tournament organized by the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB). It took place between 4 and 15 of March and was held in Cairo, Egypt.

Contents

CF de Carthage started the competition as defending champions and reached the finals, where they were defeated 3–0 by Al Ahly SC. It was the ninth time Al Ahly won the Women's African Volleyball Clubs Championship title. [1]

Nada Meawad is an Egyptian indoor and beach volleyball player, a member of the Egypt women's national volleyball team. She made her international debut when she was 15 years old on the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship in Thailand. She started playing in El Shams Club at the age of five years old. Nada Meawad and her teammate Doaa Elghobashy were the first ever African team to take part in the FIVB beach volleyball Olympic Games in 2016. She is a Five-time AVCA First Team All-American and Three-time NAIA Player of the Year 2018, 2020 and 2021 while playing college volleyball at Park University.

The Women's African Volleyball Clubs Cup Winners was a competition for volleyball clubs in Africa organised by the African Volleyball Confederation Gather the African teams that have won their national Cups In a tournament held since 1989 but dissolved later.

The top two teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship as the CAVB representatives.
