The 2019-2020 National Women Football Championship was the 12th season of the National Women Football Championship , the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The tournament took place in two phases: qualifying round in November 2019 and final round from 1 to 12 January 2020 in Karachi. [1]

Pakistan Army were able to defend their title by beating Karachi United 7-1 in the final. [2]

Qualifying round

The qualifying round with 20 teams was held in November and December 2019 in three cities: Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. The following 8 teams qualified for the final round:

For this edition, the qualifying round gathered 20 teams in November and December 2019 in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad [1] [3] and 8 teams were selected for the final competition, [4] instead of 14 during the 2018 edition [5] and 20 during the 2021 edition starting in March. [6]

Football authorities were alleged to favour Karachi United as the competition took place in their home stadium and criticized because the playing field was not suitable for 11-a-side matches [7]

The 2014 National Women Football Championship was the 10th season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The tournament started on 12 August and concluded on 29 August 2014, with three group stages played in Lahore and one group stage played in Karachi.

The 2019 PFF National Challenge Cup was the 28th edition of domestic association football cup competition in Pakistan. 15 teams participated in the competition, commencing from 19 July and concluding on 4 August 2019. The competition was held in Peshawar, with Tehmas Khan Football Stadium and Qayyum Football Stadium hosting all the matches.

The 2017 NBP President's Cup was the first edition of NBP President's Cup. The tournament was sponsored by National Bank of Pakistan in 2017, as there was no footballing activity in Pakistan since 2016 PFF Cup. The tournament commenced on 17 January and concluded on 26 January.

The 2013 PFF League(PFFL) was the 10th season of second tier of Pakistan Football Federation. The season started on 29 November 2013 and concluded on 28 December 2013. The event took place in Lahore, Layyah and Karachi.

The 2012 National Women Football Championship was the 8th season of the National Women Football Championship, the top-tier of women's football in Pakistan. The tournament ran from 28 September to 9 October 2012 in Jinnah Sports Stadium, Islamabad.
