Orienteering Group of sports that requires navigational skills

Orienteering is a group of sports that require navigational skills using a map and compass to navigate from point to point in diverse and usually unfamiliar terrain whilst moving at speed. Participants are given a topographical map, usually a specially prepared orienteering map, which they use to find control points. Originally a training exercise in land navigation for military officers, orienteering has developed many variations. Among these, the oldest and the most popular is foot orienteering. For the purposes of this article, foot orienteering serves as a point of departure for discussion of all other variations, but almost any sport that involves racing against a clock and requires navigation with a map is a type of orienteering.

Road running is the sport of running on a measured course over an established road.

Gen Con is the largest tabletop-game convention in North America by both attendance and number of events. It features traditional pen-and-paper, board, and card games, including role-playing games, miniatures wargames, live action role-playing games, collectible card games, and strategy games. Gen Con also features computer games. Attendees engage in a variety of tournament and interactive game sessions. In 2015, Gen Con had 61,423 unique attendees, making it one of the largest conventions in North America.

The Connecticut Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was a WTA Premier Tournament on the WTA Tour until its final edition in 2018. From 2005 through 2010 the tournament was also part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the ATP Tour. It was held annually at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center in New Haven, Connecticut, United States, just before the fourth and last Grand Slam tournament of the year, the US Open. in 2019 the tournament sanction was sold to APG, a leading Sports and Entertainment company. The tournament sanction was relocated to Zhengzhou City, China.

Palio Città della Quercia

The Palio Città della Quercia is an annual track and field meeting held at the Stade Quercia in Rovereto, Italy. The Pan American Cross Country Cup is an international Cross country running competition organized by the Association of Panamerican Athletics (APA) for athletes representing the countries and territories of its member associations. 2020 Kansas Democratic presidential primary

The 2020 Kansas Democratic presidential primary occurred on Saturday, May 2, 2020; this was the sole contest scheduled on that date in the Democratic Party presidential primaries for the 2020 presidential election. The Kansas primary is a closed party-run primary. The state awards 47 delegates to the 2020 Democratic National Convention, of which 41 are pledged delegates allocated on the basis of the results of the primary. Voters cast ranked choice voting ballots, with a voter's ballot counting for a backup ranked choice if their first choice was in last place and below the 15 percent threshold for winning delegates. Joe Biden won the primary, taking 76.8% of the vote after the distribution of preferences compared to Bernie Sanders 23.2%.

2019 4 Hours of Silverstone

The 2019 4 Hours of Silverstone, officially known as the 2019 WEC 4 Hours of Silverstone was an endurance sportscar racing event held on 1 September 2019, as the opening round of the 2019-20 FIA World Endurance Championship. This was the inaugural running of the race, in a 4 hours format, having previously been run as the 6 Hours of Silverstone. The race was won overall by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and José María López, in the #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid run by Toyota Gazoo Racing.
