The 2019/20 NTFL season was the 99th season of the Northern Territory Football League (NTFL). [1]
The first game was played on Saturday, 5 October, and the Grand Final was played on Saturday, 14 March, with the Nightcliff Tigers winning the match by 13 points against St Marys, claiming their fifth premiership title in history. This was the first time in the club's history going back to back in titles. [2]

The Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) is an Australian rules football semi-professional league operating in Darwin in the Northern Territory.
Abbey Holmes is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She began playing football for the Waratah Football Club in the Northern Territory Football League in 2012 and won four consecutive premierships with the club, along with being the league's leading goalkicker the same four seasons. In 2014, she became the first woman to kick 100 goals in a season in an established football league, and in 2016 she was drafted in the inaugural AFL Women's draft by Adelaide.
