The 2020 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship would have been the 17th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship, a biannual championship in handball organised by the Asian Handball Federation (AHF).

It was originally scheduled to take place from 10 to 21 July 2020 in Shiraz, I. R. Iran, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In January 2021, AHF Executive Committee decided to move the event from I. R. Iran due to COVID-19 restrictions in the country and awarded the event to Bahrain Handball Federation scheduled to take place from 20 to 29 March 2021. Following 10 teams intended to participate in the championship. The draw was scheduled to be held on Thursday, 25 February 2021 at 18:00 (UTC+03:00) at the Bahrain Handball Federation Headquarter, Manama, Bahrain. [6]

It will be the first time in history that championship will be organised in Oman by the Oman Handball Association. It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2019 Men's Junior World Handball Championship. Top three teams from the championship will directly qualify for the Junior World Championship to be held in Spain.

2018 Asian Mens Youth Handball Championship

The 2018 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship was the 8th edition of the championship held from 16 to 26 September 2018 at Amman (Jordan) under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the third time in history that championship was organised in Jordan by the Jordan Handball Federation. The top four teams qualified for the 2019 Men's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Republic of Macedonia.

2019 Asian Womens Junior Handball Championship

The 2019 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship was the 15th edition of the championship held from 20 to 29 July 2019 at Beirut, Lebanon under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the first time in history that championship was organised in Lebanon by the Lebanese Handball Federation. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2020 Women's Junior World Handball Championship.

The 2021 Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup was scheduled to be the eighth edition of the Women's Hockey Junior Asia Cup. The tournament was scheduled to be held in Kakamigahara, Japan from 6 to 12 April 2020. In March 2020 it was announced that the tournament would be postponed due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. On 27 October 2020 it was announced the tournament would be held from 16 to 22 August 2021. On 13 August 2021, the tournament was officially cancelled.

In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers were played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). The Asia Qualifier consisted of two sub-regional groups, A and B, with the groups being played in Qatar and Malaysia respectively. The winners of each sub-regional group progressed to one of two global qualifiers. On 2 September 2021, the ICC announced that Group A had been moved from Kuwait to Qatar.

The 2021 Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup was scheduled to be the 9th edition of the Men's Hockey Junior Asia Cup, the men's international under-21 field hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. The 2022 Asian Youth Beach Handball Championship will be 2nd edition of the championship to be held from 22 to 28 March 2022 at Tehran, Iran under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It will be first time in history that the championship will be organised by IR Iran Handball Federation. It also acts as a qualification tournament for the 2022 Youth Beach Handball World Championship, with the two teams in each gender from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be hosted by Greece. The participants should be born between 1 January, 2004 and 31 December, 2006.

2021 Asian Mens Club League Handball Championship

‌The 2021 Asian Club League Handball Championship was 23rd edition of the championship held from 12 to 21 June 2021 at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It was the third time in history that the championship was organised by the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2021 IHF Men's Super Globe, with top team from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held also in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The 2020 Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship was originally to be the 13th edition of the Asian Boys' U18 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF). The tournament was scheduled to be held in Shiraz, Iran from 9 to 16 January 2021. It was originally scheduled to take place in Riffa, Bahrain from 7 to 14 July 2020, but was postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was the second time in history that the championship is organised by the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation (SAHF). It also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship, with the top five teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event jointly hosted by Poland and Sweden.

The 2022 Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship was 9th edition of the championship held from 18 to 25 March 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the first time in history that the championship was organised by the Kazakhstan Handball Federation. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Youth World Handball Championship, with top two teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Georgia.

The 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship was 16th edition of the championship held from 7 to 14 March 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the fifth time in history that the championship was organised by the Kazakhstan Handball Federation. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship, with top tree teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Slovenia.

The 2022 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship will be the 17th edition of the championship scheduled to be held from 16 to 27 July 2022 in Manama, Bahrain under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It will be the second time in history that the championship will be organised by the Bahrain Handball Federation (BHF). It also acts as a qualification tournament for the 2023 Men's Junior World Handball Championship, with top four teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be jointly hosted by Germany and Greece.
