The 2020 Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali was a road cycling stage race that took place between 1 and 4 September 2020 in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. It was the 35th edition of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali and was part of the 2020 UCI Europe Tour as a category 2.1 event. [3]

Contents

The race was originally scheduled to be held from 25 to 29 March, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced its cancellation. [1] However, in May, with the new UCI post-lockdown racing calendar, the race was rescheduled for 1 to 4 September. [2]

Teams

Nine UCI WorldTeams, eleven UCI ProTeams, and eight UCI Continental teams made up the twenty-eight teams that participated in the race. [4] Of these teams, Giotti Victoria, with five riders, was the only one to not enter the maximum allowed of six riders. 117 of the 167 riders to start the race finished. [5] [6]

Mauri Vansevenant is a Belgian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Soudal–Quick-Step. He is the son of former professional cyclist Wim Vansevenant, and is named after Melcior Mauri, the winner of the 1991 Vuelta a España.

The 2021 Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali was a road cycling stage race that took place between 23 and 27 March 2021 in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna and in San Marino. It was the 36th edition of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali and was part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour as a category 2.1 event.

The 2021 Tour of the Alps was the 44th edition of the Tour of the Alps road cycling stage race and the fifth edition since its renaming from the Giro del Trentino. It was held from 19 to 23 April 2021 in the Austrian state of Tyrol and in the Italian provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol, which all make up the Euroregion of Tyrol–South Tyrol–Trentino. The 2.Pro-category race was initially scheduled to be a part of the inaugural edition of the UCI ProSeries, but after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it made its UCI ProSeries debut in 2021, while also still being a part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour.

The 2022 Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali was a road cycling stage race that took place between 22 and 26 March 2022 in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna and in San Marino. The race was rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2022 UCI Europe Tour calendar, and was the 37th edition of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali.

The 2023 Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali was a road cycling stage race that will take place between 21 and 25 March 2023 in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna and in San Marino. The race is rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2023 UCI Europe Tour calendar, and is the 38th edition of the Settimana Internazionale di Coppi e Bartali.
