The 2021 Artsakh Football League was the 3rd official professional season of the Artsakh Football League. It started on March 7th, 2021 and was composed of nine clubs which competed for the title. [1]

Participants

Nine teams will take part in this year's competition. Initially it was decided that 10 teams would participate, which included Russian peacekeeper's team. However, the Russian team later withdrew. [2]

Artsakh football league was the top football competition in self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh. Although there was a football competition held in Artsakh starting 2004, the latest league was formed in 2018, being composed of eight clubs. The 2019–20 season was a FC Noah's 2nd season in Armenian Premier League, and first since they changed their name from Artsakh FC. They finished the season in 2nd place, behind Ararat-Armenia who they beat in the Armenian Cup final, earning qualification to the UEFA Europa League for the first time.

The 2017–18 season was Ararat-Moskva's 1st season in existence, in which they finished Third in the First League, gaining promotion to the Armenian Premier League, whilst they were knocked out of the Armenian Cup by Gandzasar Kapan in the Quarter-finals.

The 2020–21 season was FC Noah's 3rd season in Armenian Premier League, and second since they changed their name from Artsakh FC.
