The 2021 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship was the second staging of the Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and the 133rd staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking hurling teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 29 April 2021. [1] The championship began on 14 July 2021 and ended on 21 November 2021.

Contents

Blackrock entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Midleton at the semi-final stage. [2] [3] Carrigtwohill were relegated from the championship after being beaten in a playoff by Charleville. [4]

The final was played on 21 November 2021 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, between Glen Rovers and Midleton, in what was their first meeting in a final in 30 years. Midleton won the match by 0–24 to 1–18 to claim their eighth championship title overall and a first title since 2013. [5]

Patrick Horgan was the championship's top scorer with 6-56.

The draw for the 2015 fixtures took place on 14 December 2014 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The championship began on 11 April 2015 and ended on 11 October 2015.

The 2016 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 128th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The draw for the 2016 fixtures took place on 13 December 2015. The championship began on 15 May 2016 and ended on 15 October 2016.

The 1998 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 110th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The draw for the opening fixtures took place on 14 December 1997. The championship ended on 1 November 1998.

The 2018 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 130th staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The 2019 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 131st staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The draw for the 2019 opening round fixtures took place on 15 January 2019. The championship began on 26 March 2019 and ended on 20 October 2019.

The 2020 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship was the inaugural staging of the Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and the 132nd staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking hurling teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 19 November 2019. The championship was scheduled to begin on 17 April 2020, however, it was postponed indefinitely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games. The championship began on 31 July 2020 and ended on 4 October 2020.

The 2022 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship was the third staging of the Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and the 134th staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking hurling teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 8 February 2022. The championship ran from 7 June to 16 October 2022.

The 2023 Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship is the fourth staging of the Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship and the 135th staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking hurling teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 11 December 2022. The championship is scheduled to run from 6 June to October 2023.
