The 2021 North American Formula 1000 Championship presented by EPC is the fifth season of the North American Formula 1000 Championship. The sixteen round season begins on April 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park, and ends on October 17 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. [1]

Contents

Last year's champion, Alex Mayer, became a four-time champion in the series, winning every season since the series' conception. [2]

2021 Formula One World Championship 72nd season of the motor racing championship

The 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship is a motor racing championship for Formula One cars which is the 72nd running of the Formula One World Championship. It is recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body of international motorsport, as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. The championship is being contested over twenty-two Grands Prix, which will be held around the world. Drivers and teams are scheduled to compete for the titles of World Drivers' Champion and World Constructors' Champion respectively.

The 2020 F4 Spanish Championship was the fifth season of the Spanish F4 Championship. It was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, taking place in Spain. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.4 litre Tatuus-Abarth single seat race cars that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The series was organised by RFEDA.

The 2021 F4 British Championship is a multi-event, Formula 4 open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across United Kingdom. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, competing in Formula 4 cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. This, the seventh season, following on from the British Formula Ford Championship, is the seventh year that the cars conform to the FIA's Formula 4 regulations. The 2021 FIA Formula 2 Championship is a motor racing championship for Formula 2 cars that is sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship is the fifty-fifth season of Formula 2 racing and the fifth season run under the FIA Formula 2 Championship moniker. It is an open-wheel racing category that serves as the second tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category is scheduled to be run in support of selected rounds of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship is a spec series, all teams and drivers competing in the championship will run the same car, the Dallara F2 2018. The championship is due to be contested over twenty-four races at eight circuits. It began in March 2021 with a round in support of the Bahrain Grand Prix, and end in December where it will support the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship Motor racing championship held in 2021

The 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula 3 cars that was sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the twelfth season of Formula 3 racing and the third season run under the FIA Formula 3 Championship moniker. It was an open-wheel racing category that served as the third tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category was run in support of selected rounds of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers that competed in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F3 2019. The championship was contested over twenty-one races at seven circuits. It started in May 2021 with a round in the support of the Spanish Grand Prix, and ended in September, where it supported the Russian Grand Prix.

The 2021 Indy Lights season was the 35th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 19th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. After going into a hiatus in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season started on April 17 at Barber Motorsports Park and was held over 20 races spanning ten meetings.

The 2021 Indy Pro 2000 Championship was the 23rd season in series history. An 18-round schedule was announced on October 21, 2020, featuring five permanent road courses, two street circuits, and two ovals. The series started on April 17, 2021 at Barber Motorsports Park.

The 2021 U.S. F2000 National Championship will be the twelfth season of the U.S. F2000 National Championship since its revival in 2010. The championship serves as the first rung of the IndyCar Series's Road to Indy ladder system. An 18 race schedule was announced on October 21, 2020 featuring five permanent road courses, two street circuits, and a single oval in the Dave Steele Classic.

The 2021 F1600 Championship Series season is the eleventh season of the F1600 Championship Series. The season commences on April 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park, and ends on October 17 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex.
