The 2021 North American Formula 1000 Championship presented by EPC is the fifth season of the North American Formula 1000 Championship. The sixteen round season begins on April 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park, and ends on October 17 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. [1]

Contents

Last year's champion, Alex Mayer, became a four-time champion in the series, winning every season since the series' conception. [2] Mayer was able to win another championship earning his fifth championship.

The North American Formula 1000 Championship is a motor racing series based on SCCA's open wheel Formula 1000 rules. It was founded in 2017 after the US Formula 1000 Championship ended in 2016. It serves somewhat as a successor to all the previous F1000 championships as all of those who were involved in its inception were part of either organizing or participating in all of the previous F1000 championships.

Bryan Sellers is an American racing driver. Sellers won the title in the U.S. F2000 in 2002 and later competed in the Atlantic Championship and in racing sports cars.

The Formula Regional Americas Championship powered by Honda is an FIA Formula Regional racing series that competes in the United States, with plans in the future to race in Canada and Mexico. The championship is sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing, the professional racing division of the Sports Car Club of America, in conjunction with the Automobile Competition Committee for the United States, the United States representative to the FIA. The 2020 F4 Spanish Championship was the fifth season of the Spanish F4 Championship. It was a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, taking place in Spain. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.4 litre Tatuus-Abarth single seat race cars that conformed to the technical regulations for the championship. The series was organised by RFEDA.

The 2021 Indy Lights season was the 35th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 19th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. After going into a hiatus in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season started on April 17 at Barber Motorsports Park and was held over 20 races spanning ten meetings.

The 2021 USF2000 Championship was the twelfth season of the USF2000 Championship since its revival in 2010. The championship serves as the first rung of the IndyCar Series's Road to Indy ladder system. An 18 race schedule was announced on October 21, 2020, featuring five permanent road courses, two street circuits, and a single oval in the Dave Steele Classic.

The 2021 F1600 Championship Series season is the eleventh season of the F1600 Championship Series. The season commences on April 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park, and ends on October 17 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex.

The 2020 Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio was a sports car race sanctioned by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). The race was held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, on September 27, 2020. This race was the seventh round of the 2020 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and the fifth round of the 2020 WeatherTech Sprint Cup.

The 2023 Firestone Indy NXT Series was the 36th season of the Indy NXT open wheel motor racing series and the 21st sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. Known as Indy Lights before 2023, the championship was rebranded following its acquisition by Penske Entertainment, the owner of the IndyCar Series, in 2022. This rebrand coincided with the three lower support series, still run by Anderson Promotions, also changing their branding.

The 2023 Atlantic Championship Series season was the tenth season of the revived Atlantic Championship. The series is organized by Formula Race Promotions and sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing.

The 2023 F2000 Championship Series season was the thirteenth season of the F2000 Championship Series. It was held over fourteen races across seven race weekends. The season began on March 25 at Road Atlanta and finished on August 20 at Summit Point Motorsports Park.
