The Finn dinghy is a single-handed, cat-rigged sailboat, and a former Olympic class for men's sailing. Since its debut at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, the Finn featured in every summer Olympics until 2020, making it the longest serving dinghy in the Olympic Regatta and one of the most prolific Olympic sailboats,. The Finn is a physically demanding boat to race at the highest levels, especially since the class rules now allow unlimited boat rocking and sail pumping when the wind is above 10 knots. The event will not feature on the Olympic programme from 2024.

The Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak's City Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland. It was completed in 1960 with a capacity of about 35,944 on wooden benches. The stadium was completely rebuilt in 2007–2008, and the current seating capacity is 20,187 people. It is currently used for football matches and track and field events. The stadium is named after Polish Olympic gold medal-winning runner Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak.
Martin Sauer is a German former representative rowing coxswain. He was an eight-time world champion at the senior level and three-time underage world champion. He is a triple Olympian and a triple Olympic medallist. He held his seat as coxswain of the German senior men's eight — the Deutschlandachter — constantly from 2009 to 2021 and steered that crew to their six world championship titles and also when at the 2017 World Rowing Cup II they set a world's best time of 5.18.68, which still the standing world mark as of 2021.

The NACAC U23 Championships in Athletics is an under-23 athletics competition held between the member associations of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC). Rules and regulations were approved at an extraordinary meeting of the members attending the XVIII Central American and Caribbean Games in Maracaibo, Venezuela held on August 18, 1998. First, the competition was open for athletes aged under-25. The Congress held on the island of Grenada on July 3, 2003, resulted in the reduction of the age limit for its bi-annual championships to athletes under-23 years of age in the year of competition.

Uno-X Mobility is a Norwegian UCI ProTeam established in 2016, as a continuation of the earlier Team Ringeriks-Kraft. Uno-X Mobility was initially established as a cooperation between Uno-X, Ringerike Sykkelklubb og Lillehammer Cykleklubb, and had its inaugural season in 2017. The team is sponsored by fuel station chain Uno-X, which is part of the Reitan conglomerate.
Tone Wieten is a Dutch representative rower. He is a European champion, a dual Olympian and an Olympic and world champion. His world championship title was won in the men's quad scull at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. He won a bronze medal in the Dutch eight at the 2015 World Rowing Championships. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro he was in the Dutch men's eight which won a bronze medal. In the Dutch men's quad scull at Tokyo 2020 he won an Olympic gold medal and set a new world's best time for that event.
Caleb Shepherd is a New Zealand rowing cox. He holds the world best time in the men's coxed pair (2014) and represented at the Rio Olympics in the New Zealand eight. He coxed the New Zealand women's eight to their 2019 World Championship title and has been twice a world champion.
Olivia Loe is a New Zealand representative rower. She is a two-time world champion in the double scull and is the incumbent world champion winning gold at the 2019 World Rowing Championships with Brooke Donoghue. She has been selected in the New Zealand senior squad for the 2020 Summer Olympics but in a surprise move at the final crew selections Loe was replaced in the double scull by Hannah Osborne and selected to race the New Zealand women's quad-scull.
Lucy Spoors is a New Zealand rower. She is a 2019 world champion winning the women's eight title at the 2019 World Rowing Championships.
Sam Bosworth is a New Zealand coxswain. He is an Olympic champion and was the first male coxswain to win an international elite rowing event in a female crew.

He is an Olympic silver medallist and was a three time world champion as a member of the German men's eight — the Deutschlandachter — who dominated the men's eight event from 2017 to 2019. He rowed at four when the Deutschlandachter at the 2017 World Rowing Cup II set a world's best time of 5.18.68, which was still the standing world mark as of 2021. His older brother Eric is also a world champion rower.
