The 2021 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local elections were held in 17 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan on 19 December 2021. [1] [2] Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) won the most seats. [3] [4] [5] In second phase PTI won the most vote by 31 seats while JUI (F) won 5 seats and independent won 12 seats.

First phase of election were held on 19 December 2021 17 districts.

On 13 February 2022 re-voting of the first phase were held in 13 different districts. [6] [7]

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is a political party in Pakistan. It was founded in 1996 by Pakistani cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan, who served as the country's prime minister from 2018 to 2022. The PTI is one of the three major Pakistani political parties alongside the Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML–N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), and it is the largest party in terms of representation in the National Assembly of Pakistan since the 2018 general election. General elections were held in Pakistan on Wednesday, 25 July 2018 to elect the members of 15th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan, the Pakistan Muslim League led by Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistan Peoples Party led by Bilawal Bhutto. The PTI won the most seats in the National Assembly but fell short of a majority; the party subsequently formed a coalition government with several smaller parties. At the provincial level, the PTI remained the largest party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP); the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) retained its dominance in Sindh and the newly formed Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) emerged as the largest party in Balochistan. In Punjab, the result was a hung parliament with the Pakistan Muslim League (N) winning the most seats. However, after several independents MPAs joined the PTI, the latter became the largest party and was able to form a government.

Dawar Khan Kundi is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from September 2013 to May 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2015 Pakistani Senate election</span>

Senate elections were held in Pakistan on 5 March 2015 to elect the replacements for 52 retiring senators. Those retiring include chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and deputy chairman Sabir Ali Baloch of the upper house. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the majority party in Senate, would lose 21 members, followed by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz would lose 9 and Awami National Party would lose 6 members.

Local elections were held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan on 30 May 2015. A total of 84,420 candidates contested 41,762 seats on district, town, neighbourhood and village councils. They were the first local elections in the province for ten years.

Nazim-e-Peshawar is the Mayor who heads the Municipal Corporation of Peshawar (MCP) which controls the City District Government of Peshawar.

Himayat Ullah Mayar is a Pakistani politician who is currently serving as Mayor of Mardan since March 2022. He had also served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013.

Laiq Muhammad Khan is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2010 to 2013. He was also a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from August 2018 to January 2023.

Nadia Sher Khan is a Pakistani politician who had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from May 2013 to May 2018.

Nagina Khan is a Pakistani politician who served as a member of the 10th Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Nighat Orakzai is a Pakistani politician who had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2002 till January 2023.

Sultan Mohammad Khan is a Pakistani politician who served as the Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights, in office from 29 August 2018 to 9 Feb 2021. He was removed from his post because he was spotted in a video where he could be seen selling his Senate vote. He had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from August 2018 till January 2023. Previously, he was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from May 2013 to May 2018.

Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 25 July 2018 to elect the members of the 11th Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, alongside nationwide general elections and three other provincial elections in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab. The remaining two territories of Pakistan, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, were ineligible to vote due to their disputed status.

General elections are scheduled to be held in Pakistan on 8 February 2024 to elect the members of the 16th National Assembly. The detailed schedule was announced by Election Commission of Pakistan on 15 December 2023.

Liaquat Khan Khattak is a Pakistani politician who served as a member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from October 2018 to January 2023.

Provincial elections were held in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's constituencies belonging to areas previously known as the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on 20 July 2019. After the election, the new members joined the already elected members from the rest of the province to complete the formation of 11th Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2018 Pakistani general election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa</span>

General elections were held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, 25 July 2018 to elect the 51 members of 15th National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) obtained a landslide victory in the province by winning 37 general seats and increased their margin of victory from 2013. The PTI also won 8 out of 10 reserved seats while the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) and Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) won 1 reserved seat each.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial election</span>

Provincial elections are scheduled to be held in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 8 February 2024 to elect a new provincial legislature. On 5 August 2023, the results of the 2023 digital census were approved by the Council of Common Interests headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Therefore, elections have been delayed for several months, as new delimitations will be published on 14 December 2023, as announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). On 2 November 2023, the ECP announced, in agreement with the President of Pakistan, Arif Alvi, that the elections will be held on 8 February 2024. This election will be held concurrently with nationwide general elections and other provincial elections.

Local government elections were held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on 27 November, 3 December 2022 and 8 December 2022 in three phases. These local government elections were the first ones in more than three decades. The results were declared for each of the three phases on their respective voting days. The elections will be held under the supervision of Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
