The 2022 America East Conference Softball tournament will be held at University Field on the campus of Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York from May 25 through May 28, 2022. [2] The tournament will earn the America East Conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament.

Joe Nathan Field is a baseball field on the campus of Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, United States. The field is home to the Stony Brook Seawolves baseball team of the NCAA Division I America East Conference. It is located at the northern end of the school's athletics complex. The field opened on May 20, 2011, replacing Stony Brook's old baseball field, which was known as University Field from 2002 to 2011. The old facility was known as Seawolves Field through the 2002 season, when its name was changed to University Field.

Matt Senk is an American college baseball coach who is currently the head coach of the Stony Brook Seawolves. Senk has held the head coaching position at Stony Brook since prior to the 1991 season. Under Senk, Stony Brook has won America East Conference Baseball Tournaments in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, and 2019, appearing in the NCAA tournament each of those seasons. In 2012, Stony Brook won the Coral Gables Regional and advanced to the Baton Rouge Regional to face LSU. After defeating LSU in a three-game series, the team moved on to the College World Series for the first time in program history. It was the first time that a school from the Northeast had reached the College World Series since 1986.

Tommy Brenton American basketball player

Thomas Brenton is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Stony Brook Seawolves of the America East Conference, where he won the 2013 Lefty Driesell Award, given to the top defensive player in Division I college basketball. Brenton also won the 2013 America East Conference Player of the Year, becoming the second player from Stony Brook to earn the award. He played professionally in Japan for the Link Tochigi Brex of the B.League from 2013 to 2017.

All tournament games will be played on the home arenas of the higher-seeded school. The winner received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
