The 2022 Asian Beach Handball Championship was the 8th edition of the championship held from 22 to 28 March 2022 at Tehran, Iran under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF). [1] It was the second time in history that the championship was organised by IR Iran Handball Federation. It also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2022 Beach Handball World Championships, with the top two teams in each gender from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be hosted by Greece.

It also acts as a qualification tournament for the 2022 Youth Beach Handball World Championship, with the two teams in each gender from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be hosted by Greece. The participants should be born between 1 January, 2004 and 31 December, 2006.

The 2020 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship would have been the 17th edition of the Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship, a biannual championship in handball organised by the Asian Handball Federation (AHF).

The 2022 Asian Men's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the Asian Men's Handball Championship, held from 18 to 31 January 2022 in Saudi Arabia under the aegis of the International Handball Federation (IHF) and Asian Handball Federation (AHF). It was the second time in history that the championship was organised by the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation (SAHF). It also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship, with the top five teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event.

It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship, with top tree teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Slovenia.

The 2022 Men's Beach Handball World Championships was the ninth edition of the championship, held from 21 to 26 June 2022 at Crete, Greece under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It was the first time in history that the championship is organised by Hellenic Handball Federation.
