2022 BAL Nile Conference

The Nile Conference of the 2022 BAL season began on 9 April 2022 and ended on 19 April 2022. In a group of six teams, all teams played each other one time. The top four teams in the standings advanced to the 2022 BAL Playoffs.

Contents

All games were hosted in the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo, Egypt. The teams and schedule were revealed on 8 February. [1]

2021 BAL season Inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League

The 2021 BAL season was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established as a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA, it is the highest tier continental league of Africa, replacing the FIBA Africa Basketball League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the BAL announced that it was postponing its inaugural season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The BAL started its league more than one year later, on 16 May 2021. The tournament was rescheduled from 2020 to 2021 and instead of playing at six different venues and countries the season was played completely in Kigali, Rwanda. The season began on 16 May 2021 and ended on 30 May 2021.

Rolly Fula Nganga is an Congolese basketball player, who plays for Espoir Fukash of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and the DR Congo national basketball team. Standing at 198 cm, he plays as shooting guard.

The 2022 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 2, was the second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The season began on 2 March 2022 and ended with the Finals on 28 May 2022. The group phase was played in the Dakar Arena in Dakar and the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo. The playoffs and finals were played in the BK Arena in Kigali for a second year in a row.

2021–22 Zamalek SC is a season for Egyptian Basketball Super League, in which Zamalek competes for all tournaments, starting with the Egyptian Super Cup as the holder of the Super League title, and Basketball Africa League, along with the Super League for Basketball, the Associated League and the Egypt Basketball Cup

2020-21 Zamalek SC was a season of the Zamalek club. The club competes for local championships such as the League, Cup and Continental in the Basketball Africa League because it is the champion of the 2019 League.

The qualification tournaments for the 2022 BAL season were the qualification rounds for the second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The tournaments began on 19 October 2021 and ended 16 December 2021. The competition consisted out of two stages: the first round and the elite 16. Six teams advanced to the group phase of the BAL.

BC Espoir Fukash Basketball team in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo

BC Espoir Fukash is a Congolese basketball team based in Kinshasa. The team plays in the Liprobakin, as well as in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) for the 2022 season. The team has won the Kinshasa title one time in 2021, and have won the Congolese Cup in 2021.

2021 BAL group phase

The 2021 BAL group phase began on 16 May 2021 and ended on 24 May 2021. A total of 12 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 8 places in the 2021 BAL Playoffs.

This page lists the rosters of the 2022 BAL season, the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Each team features 13 players. On the rosters, a maximum of four foreign players is allowed including maximum two non-African players. One player from the BAL Elevate program, a cooperation with the NBA Academy Africa, is placed on each team.

The 2022 BAL Playoffs was the second edition of the playoffs of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) and was the concluding tournament of the 2022 BAL season. The playoffs began on 21 May 2022 and ended on 28 May 2022 with the Finals. For a second consecutive season, all playoffs games were played at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.

The 2021–22 Cape Town Tigers season is the 2nd season in the existence of the Cape Town Tigers. The team played in the BAL qualification and successfully advanced to the 2022 BAL season.

2022 BAL Finals

The 2022 BAL Finals was the championship game of the 2022 BAL season, the second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The final was played in the BK Arena in Kigali on 28 May 2022, between Angolan club Petro de Luanda and Tunisian club US Monastir.
