The Nile Conference of the 2022 BAL season began on 9 April 2022 and ended on 19 April 2022. In a group of six teams, all teams played each other one time. The top four teams in the standings advanced to the 2022 BAL Playoffs.
All games were hosted in the Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Cairo, Egypt. The teams and schedule were revealed on 8 February. [1]

José Alves dos Santos Neto is a Brazilian professional basketball coach. He is the current head coach of Petro de Luanda in the Angolan Basketball League, as well as for the Brazil women's national basketball team.
The 2021 BAL season was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established as a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA, it is the highest tier continental league of Africa, replacing the FIBA Africa Basketball League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the BAL announced that it was postponing its inaugural season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The BAL started its league more than one year later, on 16 May 2021. The tournament was rescheduled from 2020 to 2021 and instead of playing at six different venues and countries the season was played completely in Kigali, Rwanda. The season began on 16 May 2021 and ended on 30 May 2021.

The tournaments began on 19 October 2021 and ended 16 December 2021. The competition consisted out of two stages: the first round and the elite 16. Six teams advanced to the group phase of the BAL.
BC Espoir Fukash is a Congolese basketball team based in Kinshasa. The team plays in the Liprobakin, as well as in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) for the 2022 season. The team has won the Kinshasa title one time in 2021, and have won the Congolese Cup in 2021.
