Wall Stadium is a 1/4-mile high banked paved oval track in Wall Township, New Jersey, United States. The track opened to the public in the spring of 1950 and has operated for at least a part of every year since. Richard Petty won his first ever NASCAR Cup race in the USA at Wall Stadium. The track was an early home to racing stars Ray Evernham, Jr. and the Truex family of Martin Sr., Martin Jr. and Ryan Truex. Also, it hosted a NASCAR Convertible Series race in 1956 and a NASCAR Grand National Series event in 1958. The more prominent drivers over the years have included Gil Hearne, Tommie Elliott and Charlie Kremer, Jr., John Blewett III, Jimmy Blewett, Jimmy Spencer, Tony Siscone, Richie Evans, and Charlie Jarzombek. Wall Stadium is also known for hosting Round 4: The Gauntlet of the Formula DRIFT Pro Championship.
The Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (SMART) Tour is a Modified stock car racing series racing in the Southeastern region of The United States. The series began in 1989, NASCAR took over the series in 2005. During it's time as a NASCAR sanctioned series it followed identical regulations to the Northern NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Whelen Season Opener 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 9. It ended with the Southern Slam 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. George Brunnhoelzl III entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.

It began with the Spring Classic 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 15 and ended with the Charlotte 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 8. Andy Seuss, who entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion, won the championship, three points in front of George Brunnhoelzl III. Andrew T. Seuss is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. As an owner, he owns KLAS Motorsports, which fields the No. 73 car part-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Andy Jankowiak.

Justin Bonsignore entered the season as the defending drivers' champion. 2019 marked the third season of the unification of the Whelen (Northern) Modified Tour and the Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Doug Coby won the championship, his sixth, eight points ahead of Bonsignore.
